Thank you parislse for the information and the link. Much appreciated. It does sound like Tunisia is on SDXs radar but from an interview a few months ago PW mentioned 20 or so projects they were looking at, so presumably there are 1 or 2 in that list that should be able to be converted into a good acquisition - one or two like their last one the Circle Oil one would be fantastic. Atb, Northern
By the cfo today. As part of their new acquisition does anyone know if there is planned 2 or 3D seismic. I'm just thinking it would be. Nice to emulate what Echo Energy have just done with a substantial oil find. Atb, Northern
Does anyone know as part of the Circle Oil acquisition did it include any Tunisian assets? I seem to remember that Circle Oil put a lot of money into drilling there but was not successful. Atb, Northern
unfairly that Jay and co are just content to sit and wait. Whatever happens they are I think going to make an awful lot of money and I think us as shareholders are having to take a back seat. People say it isn't a good idea to compare but when I see other oil companies having a plan and executing and achieving success even though they have the occasional failures and the sp moving up I just feel why cannot Aminex be the same. For some years now we have been promised a lot and change in communications - and nothing in the Managements approach seems to have changed. I feel like one of the posters on here earlier today who said he feels like Oliver asking Jay for me. It shouldn't be like this should it? Atb, Northern
I really do hope this news we are20 Jun 2018 19:39
waiting for is worth the wait. This waiting game is getting terribly tedious.
Soon, please Aminex - and that does mean soon and not a couple of months! We deserve better treatment.

PW interview with Malcy today. Is PW talking about selling the company when it gets to at least $1bn - is that American Dollars, which at current exchange rates would be approximately £750m. This approximately 6 times the current market cap. So, six times the current SP would be £3.66 per share. Does anyone think this achievable? Think they he is thinking in about 3- 4 years time or less.

Can I add my thoughts too to Leafless Clover. Hope, you are doing ok at the moment Webmoor. I know in the past you've been going through various phases of treatment. Hope you are doing ok at the moment.
Take care my friend.

schedule is for Origin to apply for and obtain permits re the drilling of Beetaloo? Are we talking early next year before drilling might start or possibly some time this year? It would seem odd now the moratorium has been lifted that the authorities would not want to move things forward with regulations in place, so that companies can start to plan for drilling.

Strange what thoughts you have when13 Jun 2018 22:53
sat at traffic lights on the way home from work. I was thinking about Zubair taking a stake in Ruvuma and something although obvious struck me as beneficial. They wouldn't want to make a large investment in Aminex if they were not going to get a relatively quick return would they? If they were not going to get a relatively quick return on thier funds they would look elsewhere. This was the thought that hit me - so if the Farmout was made then Zubair in their self interest for that quick return and the expansion of a drilling program would result in a benefit to Shareholders too!
Having said this - first things first - lets see the colour of their money and the nature of the deal.

If I sound off on this board re the13 Jun 2018 08:41
wait for news from Aminex - please accept with a huge pinch of salt. I need to sound off sometimes hence these posts - just venting a bit of frustration. Those who know me as a long term poster on here will appreciate that I do get frustrated with the waiting game from time to time - so, like I say please humour me for now and hopefully Aminex's fortunes(and hopefully ours) will start to recover in the second half of the year.

for an RNS from Aminex is a bit like watching paint dry. Except that paint dries an awful lot quicker.
Aminex last reported they were in advanced discussions for a Farmout at Ruvuma on 9th April and last tweeted on April 23rd and that tweet was relating to old news - a reiteration of the CPR news.
So, what have they been doing in the meantime and why the silence? Should we have to rely on crumbs of information from Malcy who appears to be able to contact Jay when the rest of us don't get information and updates. Why the shroud of secrecy - isn't their a better and more transparent way to run a company and keep your shareholders informed?

This might seem an odd question but12 Jun 2018 00:50
I believe the agreement for the BKR transaction was agreed earlier in the year. Why is it taking to the third quarter of the year to finalise/sign off the agreement? I also believe the sign off will include revenue since the start of this year accruing to Serica which in itself will be a big revenue earner - is that correct?

together us long term holders are fed up of waiting and you aren't doing much to add to our wealth in fact quite the opposite. Wakey, wakey - lets get this company moving again....
