Hi Drewky I did say three weeks but it is no where nearly posting on a nightly basis and they were posts hoping for positive news so not as negative as you are painting them to be. Three posts(one during the weekend before each of the three weeks) over three weeks isn't exactly 21 posts and I do know my own posting record thank you very much. If Aminex provided me with more positive things to post about ten believe me I would!
Where I do agree with you is Anyway here's to a great few weeks. Come on Aminex & come on England. It's Coming Home!

Hi Drewky must correct you there. I have said during the weekend before the start of each of the last three weeks that I hoped for news in the coming week The intention wasn't to depress anyone but to highlight that the company is just not still communicating with shareholders and that what messages we receive build up hope then they don't deliver - as in the advanced discussions message. I hadn't said this each day for the last three weeks. Happy to wait for a few days though to see if we can get some positive news from the AGM. Presumably they will do a Proactive Investors interview afterwards and provide a presentation. So, hopefully lots to get our teeth into. Fingers crossed.

Drilling = running darned autocorrect software!

I don't want to keep posting Drewky re the news issue. I would rather we just got an RNS to say they have rig, it's going to be deployed and we are going to start running as soon as possible. This cloak and dagger stuff with a news drought and seeming lack of activity is ridiculous. I also sincerely hope you get some decent answers to the questions you sent to Aminex and that you are able to share them. It's a little sad but this seems to be the only way we can get answers out of the company.

three weeks but the BoD cannot run and hide forever. Will be interesting to see if they offer lame excuses at next weeks AGM or if they really do have a future to offer Aminex shareholders. Come on Aminex get your act together! We've been waiting patiently but it's been wearing thin for some time now.

is going to the AGM next week could you possibly supply a brief report on proceedings - and if there is progress planned for the second half of the year. Also, I think it is Drewky who forwarded the list of questions to Aminex. If at all possible Drewky and you receive any answers could you share them with us. We've had such a lack of news for so long now that this would be a(hopefully) welcome boost to our confidence in the company.

not receive any news before the AGM. Hopefully there will be some news at the AGM as well as the usual formalities. This lack of news after all the positive news re the demand that the gas could be used for and the great CPR earlier on in the year has certainly put a damper on the sp. Let's hope they can resurrect some credibility and start to perform as a progressive company and get things moving again.

possible farmout deal. If nothing has been mentioned in the resolutions for the AGM about this then doesn't this mean when we get news about the farmout deal the company will have to write to shareholders asking them to vote by a certain date and aN Extraordinary General Meeting(EGM) will have to be called to deal with this? So, although we might hear something about this before the AGM presumably if a farmout is proposed the EGM will be called after the AGM.
I think the main point on all fronts now is please Aminex don't prolong the wait lets have some news as soon as possible. Presumably also there will be other disgruntled shareholders at the AGM who will want to voice there opinions about the lack of progress too and the continued slide in the sp. Maybe then we will see if the BoD are really answerable to shareholders concerns or if this malaise will continue.

I think they know about Twitter but they, for whatever reason don't seem to want to bother updating shareholders and it is us that's agreeing to their salary isn't it! I hope things quickly change as we move into the second half of the year. My concern now is even if Aminex start to get their act together, getting things signed off by the Tanzanian reminds me of the phrase getting blood out of a stone. Hopefully, both sides will start to realise it is in both parties best interests to get things moving as quickly as possible and we get NT-3(C-1) drilling at last.

really do hope that we get news this week - it seems to be becoming a bit of a farce now and it's not to the benefit of Aminex shareholders. It was so annoying to see Solo's sp move up this week and Aminex's to continue to drift down. I know Jay in the past has said he day to day sp movements do not interest him but surely a continued drift down in the sp should - I think it would in most other companies and some action would be taken to turn things around.

I've never been to an AGM but hold shares in President Energy. Could someone who is going please provide a summary of the major issues highlighted please. If there were any other issues that were emphasised re future developments that would be of interest too.

I'm afraid that is my concern - re trying to sell this share off on the cheap. Before now we have been told this is considered to be of National importance by the Tanzanians and 2TCF+ is an awful lot of gas. In the past if they wanted to let us know what they thought was good news they would come out and let us know as soon as they could - admittedly then we had some long waits. However, now we have silence and a seeming reluctance to share any news and this to me almost seems like these guys have been gagged and told not to say anything.
I appreciate what you say about the AGM and the BoD being held to account - my fear is that this is just one day then they will revert to type with more silence. What is this silence trying to achieve? - I honestly don't know - it is achieving a downward drift in the sp though. In the past I've seen some companies stall on work that was scheduled and then in would come a low ball offer made at a % over the current sp. It's my fear the sp will continue drifting down and that low ball offer will come in and the only option for shareholders is to wait and wait and wait and the sp will continue on it's downward trend and shareholders hands will be forced. Very sad - only one scenario but I still cannot for the life of me understand why we have this continued silence - only for the reason that there is something the BoD know and us shareholders don't.

Does Jay still have a role in this company? I remember years gone by people struggled with Brian Hall, so Imam not sure how easy he is to work with. To me it seems that Jay was brought in to offer fresh blood and hope to the company. He's done some good things and I would have thought he could have done with more support from the Chairman to move things forward.

I've been saying the same for about 2 years now. Despite a meeting with some shareholders nothing appears to have changed in terms of communication. If anything they have got worse. The PR company they employ seem to get paid well for not doing much at all. The really sad thing though is the consequences of this is a downward drifting share price and their inaction costing lots of people money and yet we were promised a lot more than this. What happened to that lack of gas to meet demand story we were sold. Very sad situation.

You could argue that cperkin and the Aminex BoD probably will. I'm now sceptical though - so I'll believe it when I see it.
Hope we get some news this week. Cannot see it happening though as, as I haven't heard anything from Niel Ritson for some time now and he's often been the one to let the cat out of the bag. I would have thought Solo shareholders are getting very frustrated too with the lack of any news.

Haven't posted for a little while - thank you for your posts. Great news about Google home and as we start to move into the second half of the year presumably more shipments will be being made of new products that I believe are coming on stream incorporating Frontier's hardware and software so hopefully sales will be picking up again.
Let's hope when we get the next sales report it will be showing this is the case - and more design wins would be useful as they have put a lot into R & d.

The kind of production that can sustain and self-fund the companies expansion and complete Ntorya-2 and 3 in quick succession sounds a bit like a dream now doesn't it?
The unfortunate thing is if management now make comments like near future, or in the near term no one is going to believe they can do it, unless they can prove otherwise.
