That's exactly how I feel DRichi - maybe I just need that bit more patience before cumulative good news starts to come in. Not sure about dividends whether he would do that yet or plough the revenue stream into more production/workovers and an acquisition or two. Then as you say there is Paraguay - maybe things will up in pace in the second half of the year. One thing I did quite like though was President giving the option some time ago to buy more shares in the company which I was pleased to take advantage of. Having said that I was hoping they would be a good bit North of the buying price and not a little South of it. Atb, Northern

Wokovers but earlier in the year I was anticipating another acquisition and possibly some news re Paraguay. Does anyone still anticipate we will have this news in the next few months? One thing I haven't quite got my head round is President has substantial important backers. Malcy seems to be very solidly behind the company. What I am trying to understand is, is the support based on Presidents actual assets in Argentina, or faith in PLs background and previous proven ability to add value to a company? One last point there never seem to be that many posters on this discussion board does this reflect lack of interest in the company? discussions are at an advanced stage - if they were just getting started then who knows how long we would need to wait. Must admit though a word like advanced could be taken to cover all sorts of time scales. It sounds like me they are just saying that to buy time for themselves. Pick of blocks which firstly fit in with Serica's current strategy, secondly gives them shared risks and costs with the other operatiors and thirdly gives them a really good medium term focus to add what hopefully will be some good results with the drilling this year then extra production if there is future success in up and coming years. Hi willowpillow, It could be that they really do work quite hard. The issue I have and have had for a long time now is they don't appear to be able to move things forward - whatever the reason for that is. To me it doesn't help that we get the constant cycle of big news, no action, sp drifts down repeat the cycle. It's a vicious circle. If they can just start to turn it round - big news, action, sp moves up and repeat the cycle I think we'd be invested in a very different company. Trying to be realistic and optimistic - if they do have real plans for the second half of the year lets see them execute those plans and lets see them work hard for the benefit of all shareholders. Who knows by the end of the year it might seem like we are invested in a company that is going places. Atb, Northern

leader in a certain technology can be hit with it's sp like this. Just shows what is perceived as a profit warning can have such an effect. However, they have taken immediate action re R & D and have a number of products with their own software and hardware coming on stream in the second half od the year, so here is hoping for a strong recovery. Strangely Jettydog, I'm an Aminex shareholder and thought I would look on Solo's discussion board to see what Solo's shareholders thought and it looks like you are thinking exactly the same. Not a sight or sound of the Aminex bod and they have supposedly been in advanced! discussions with Zubair re a Farmout for 2 months now. It's starting to smell a bit fishy to me - I'm just hoping the shareholders who have bought into our repective companies don't get sold out. Atb, Northern

I am now starting to suspect some sort of deal is going on behind the scenes that will benefit Zubair to the detriment of Aminex shareholders. I could be wrong but I cannot see any good reason why we should have to wait so long for news on the Farmout. All starting to smell a bit fishy to me. Atb, Northern

Law relating to these sort of decisions but it seems odd they can make the decision to take the company off aim without somehow compensating shareholders. Is this in effect a delisting from aim and should shareholders. not be offered a set price for their shares? I don't like losing out with a decision that appears to be thrust upon us. Atb, Northern

are after answers to questions on a number of points and it would be very useful to have a propper update from the company either before or at the AGM, the thing that gets me is that this company still doesn't seem to be operating as a normal company. No real updates for ages. They say they intend to commercialise resources but nothing happens, or possibly more correct no urgency is apparently shown. They say they are in advanced discussions about a fram out and nothing has been reported for about a month! and this was first mentioned about two months ago. Is it just my frustration with this company that is getting to me or do people not think this is really weird behaviour. When was the last time Jay or the Chairman gave a interview and what about their accountability to shareholders. This really does seem odd to me. Fantastic assets, supposedly more and more demand and doing very little to start the commercialisation process. It's just odd, very odd indeed. Atb, Northern

Not that long ago I seem to remember PL talking to Malcy that President Energy was going to be transformed in 2018. However, when I now hear discussions they all seem to be re what production levels will be by 2020 and also there doesn't appear to be a farm out re Paraguay and no mention as yet of a further acquisition. So, my question I suppose is really saying could the sp double or treble based on current incremental production and workovers or are we looking at further news to increase production in some other way for it to do so. analysis right re South Disouq. It sounded to me that the current on going drill of the Kelvin exploration well on South Disouq which the SDX management seem very confident about in PW recent interview on Proactive investors would be confirming the size of the gas reserves there and would help confirm the material upside - and hence a revaluation based on the results of the well and the confirmation of the reserve estimates? Would the drilling of Kelvin on it's own do this or would the following two wells also be required to confirm what they seem to suggest is a 2TCF in gas reserves. Just wondering if someone could clarify this. Either way from listening to the last interview PW sounded very confident that Kelvin was going to produce great results . Not long to wait now - I was wondering if they would announce news on May 28th in Canada whilst it is a Bank Holiday here or whether we would hear the news here in the week commencing 28th May 2018 - possibly Tuesday or Wednesday of that week - 29th or 30th May. 1. More and better quality communications to shareholders. 2. A rights issue for Long suffering shareholders to share in the growing estimated resource. 3. Quicker processing of issues including the basic one of getting the drilling going again- eg why on earth do we have to wait for a tender for the rig until the end of H1 this year when they have known they are going to drill C1(NT-3) for an age - to get some more revenue in and to grow the company. 4. A proper diversification strategy. If they have a finance partner why not use them and get the company growing rather than a stated intention then no action(this latter point is start ing to sound like a bit of a theme with Aminex!). and I think what encompasses all the above is start to operate like a normal O & G company and set out a plan then start to execute it! Just one further thought re Aminex, who is making the decisions at the company - is it Brian Hall or Jay? We don't seem to hear much at all from Brian Hall except at results time and we haven't heard much at all form Jay - yet he is hugely invested in this company. Atb, Northern

Just another thought too, if minex does want to raise more money do any of the posters on here think it might be good if we could share in the benefits in the 12 fold asset increase reported in the CPR too eg via a rights issue? Catch 22 again re they cannot report anything if they have nothing to report but I think the communications from such a company with such large assets leaves much to be desired - can they not tell us and show us what progress they are making in Tanzania. Is the drill area ready to go now and we are just waiting for the rig. It would drive me mad if they got the rig sorted then they say they will then have to start preparing the area to drill.
