the Farmout of Ruvuma with Zubair before the end of May. After all they did say these were advanced discussions some time ago now! Just another thought too, if minex does want to raise more money do any of the posters on here think it might be good if we could share in the benefits in the 12 fold asset increase reported in the CPR too eg via a rights issue? Catch 22 again re they cannot report anything if they have nothing to report but I think the communications from such a company with such large assets leaves much to be desired - can they not tell us and show us what progress they are making in Tanzania. Is the drill area ready to go now and we are just waiting for the rig. It would drive me mad if they got the rig sorted then they say they will then have to start preparing the area to drill. Thanks activeblue last year we had a trading update on 5th May. Maybe they have decided against this, this year and we'll need to wait for the half year update. Would be good to have some news re current progress though. Atb, Northern

The only thing I am surprised at i that the sp has not risen more. Although as has sometimes been said with the sp movements sometimes there is a lag. I think it will get much more exciting when we get some drilling time scales and a fantastic first result from drilling could really cause a lift off. I seem to remember some time ago Falcon produced a presentation re how the acreage owned once proved up could substantially increase in value. I'm going to try and find that on there website I think it was posted a number of years ago. I think this though will have been beyond what they might have thought possible. I suppose what is important now is determining how much their share is worth and deciding to when to maximise the sale - which I think from what Falcon said not that long ago will probably be a couple of years away. Me too re 2018 could be PPC's year and although looks like they are going to be busy I am convinced there is another acquisition in there somewhere and we also have news hopefully to come on Paraguay too. Atb, Northern

I thought I had missed some news or couldn't quite see what you were seeing.I think with PLs knowledge and experience and the way he seems to get some great deals then transforms the assets to generate a good revenue stream things will be looking good for the future.if it gets to 100p in a reasonable time scale I would be more than happy. Thanks cperkin much appreciated. Wouldn't want the dilution but the other thing is a number of Solo's projects seem quite high risk. Not sure how I feel about the Helium project and what investment will be required on that one. Will need to have a think about this one.... Atb, Northern

I sincerely hope so Drewky. However, given past experience and timescales with Aminex I am thinking more along the lines of the next 6 months rather than 2. Each to his own opinions though but would good to see this company starting to make some progress re drilling. After all that's what they are in business for. Atb, Northern

Hi cperkin, I honestly don't know re the farmout deal - if they wanted something moving forward on that I was hoping we would hear about it before the end of May - so it can then be put to shareholders, voted on etc - and they did say they were in advanced discussions but will have to wait and see on that - like I've said in my last post currently we are in limbo until the management make their next announcement - I was hoping we would get to know about it this, this month - I wouldn't expect it to be announced in the same RNS as the AGM notice but it could be next month when it's announced- will have to wait and see... Hi dunderhead, Yes, when I typed that I thought I might get this response. However, most shareholders can only go off what they are told by the management and I think some are prepared to wait and others are fed up with waiting. The potential of the company is without doubt - the ability to realise that potential and the time to start doing so is the point I was trying to make in terms of the management losing the confidence and trust of it's shareholders. The trust and confidence in the management is measured in one sense by the continued slide of the sp. Even though they have had a CPR report that suggests the reserves are huge. If they can get the company moving again and the sp starts to trend up then that trust might return. Otherwise, as now we are stuck in limbo... Atb, Northern

Shareholders for their opinion on Solo. I am having a look at the company and know they have a joint venture with Aminex in Ruvuma and an interest in a Helium project and in the Horsehill project. My question is, is the current price a good entry point to make an investment in Solo. Apart from price are there any other concerns re Solo oil as an investment I should be concerned about? Only 2 general questions from me. 1. Is there drilling planned that will maintain the momentum gained from the first half of the year? 2. You have said you are looking at a number of projects. Are we likely to see another acquisition in the second half of 2018. Atb, Northern

Whilst we wait for news. I suppose it's a bit of a catch 22 really. They say they have no news until the second half of the year so they don't need to communicate anything. So, this communication thing isn't going to get better any time soon. I thought they said the communications to shareholders was going to get better. Further, what is going on behind the scenes re Zubair and these advanced discussions. Seems like advanced comes from the same dictionary as imminent! Malcy keeps mentioning things going on between Solo and Aminex but we shareholders seem to be kept in the dark. One thing I suppose is that this silence cannot go on for much longer or Aminex's management will start to lose the trust and confidence of their shareholders. What a contrast to a company like SDX. It's market cap was less than Aminex's but is now making great strides whilst Aminex's stagnates. SDX also has a conference call to investors this week. Can anyone think Aminex would do the same? Looking at these 2 companies you would think Aminex was on Aim and Sdx had a premier listing but sadly it is in fact the other way round. Here's hoping for some turn around in Aminex's and hence their shareholders fortunes. Atb, Northern

Hi RDA12, I appreciate your optimism but I'm just trying to get my head around the leap from the current sp to the multiple pounds comment you made. It seems to be struggling even to pull away from 10p. Just wondering how you see it getting to multiple pounds. Are you thinking this will be done with further acquisitions in Argentina or some other method. Further are you thinking the time scales are more likely to be say a year or five years. One thing I do appreciate is PL now has very much a focus on delivering now and pushing things through as that is what the market seems to be looking at - see for example SDXs progress this year. Hope you are right and we do get a step up in the sp - but just intrigued by how. Atb, Northern

Really intrigued that Malcy mentioned the new post at Solo and Solo's relationship together. He said that the new man at Solo wasn't there for the good of his health and this seemed to suggest he was there for some specific reason re Aminex. Malcy also said We know things are going on at Aminex without stating the specifics we already know about via RNSs. To me and I could be reading this wrong this suggests other things are happening behind the scenes. I then remembered sometime ago Malcy promised an update after meeting with Aminex which never came. So, I do think something is happening other than what we know but who knows what that is? Atb, Northern
