Resources. It sounds like they have some great prospects but will they not need a very big Capital raise or a very big give away in terms of a Farmout in order for the drilling of these prospects to go ahead?

President Energy presentation. Not to sure if there is too much news expected other than a reserves update this quarter but would be great if we started to get news flowing like we had the end of last year, especially if that news includes news of an acquisition.

from yesterday. Good to hear him sounding at last to have more sense of urgency. Time will tell as to whether he gets my vote at the next AGM and whether I vote for or against their renumeration package this time. Maybe he needs the company to earn more this year to justify his wage! Or possibly I'm being cynical there.
One thing I found really wierd about what he said was this year we want to get back to basics drilling for oil and gas - to do more operationally. Get back to? surely they should never have had this other than priority one for all the time they've been in Tanzania. Nice to know they are finally getting back to what they should have been doing all along!

Fingers crossed nerves of steel. Nice to come across a kindred spirit, I think we both have a similar sense of humour and outlook. The debate might have already have taken place but it would be really interesting to see what the potential valuations are for when the company sells out of Beetaloo after the drilling has taken place.

Sadly numquam that is exactly the way it seems to be. In the past they haven't covered themselves in glory but as you say have got rich whilst shareholders have had to wait and wait with little sign yet of any decent return.
Very sad but true. The BOD have a lot to prove but based on current progress it might be some time .....

not considered in any fund raise. I only hope that after yesterday's article on proactiveinvestors and today's news of the raise of funds Aminex are going to get things moving again. The only question that occurred to me was why didn't they do this say a year ago?

I've not seen this price target quoted. Last one I saw on this site was for 13p. To be honest though I don't really care. I think PL has a great strategy and the main thing is he is pushing this year for exponential growth - now this to me means a couple of decent size acquisitions and why would he set himself up for a fall if he really wasn't going to go for it and had plans to make it happen!
I think this year is going to be a fantastic one for President. I've bought more shares in the company recently and at these prices I couldn't resist.
Oh forgot to mention a near term reserves report and Paraguay too!
Take your own choice and as always DYOR - but I do really believe this company has a lot going for it this year.

bit2 thank you for sharing this information - what a difference in terms of trades checking on that page makes - MUCH more positive. Here's hoping for lots more information too from the company. They are truly on a roll and my impression is that is the way PL wants to keep things moving and he has a great team helping him achieve that.
One thing I've only just picked up on and it was a really pleasant surprise was the 7TCF of gas attributed to Argentina. That's an awful lot of gas! Fantastic as well as PL has recently started talking about gas a s being part of their strategy of balancing their portfolio. When you think about what reserves they do have(and Paraguay might also come up trumps) and the current Market Value thyen it seems like only a matter of time. Patience is a virtue they say but it seems like PL is now pushing things along quickly especially with his recent "exponential" comments.
Looks like great things to come this year.
One other thing I noticed from some time ago was when they made their recent(ish) acquisitions the sp had been at 6p for ages and quickly jumped to 10p - that was without them starting to exploit the resource. Now with the revenue starting to mount up and more drilling and workovers etc then if we had another good acquisition(or two?) then if we saw a similar increase we might see if again 66% increase around 15p - this is without Paraguay and without the gas starting to come on stream too.
It's all starting to look very good indeed!

Let's hope there is an exciting finale in Season 6 at the rate Aminex move I'm hoping we are still not waiting for an exciting finale at the end of Season 20. Having said that we might have all switched channels if we are still waiting by Season 20. :-)

is starting to accelerate. Great RNS. PL has used the exponential word again! Used it I think at least a couple of times in the interview with MaLcy and it seems to be part of this years strategy. Really, really excited about this share at the moment. Just hope that the exponential growth can translate into an exponential growth rate in the sp too!

This is really weird but I've noticed this for some time with President. They are a company that are doing really well and ready to build on the successes of 2018. However, lots of their trades on a number of days all show as sells. Like you sy bigsmoke - is this correct. It does seem bizarre but I would have expected all trades to be recorded correctly on these sites. Very confusing though if it is correct - as you wouldn't expect so many sells if the company are doing so well ???

we all know about I think we might well see other investors buying a stake to get into what could be an amazingly good opportunity. 30% of a huge amount of gas is going to have(in time) a huge reflection on the share price.
Fingers crossed the next few months should be interesting and more importantly when they get to the engineering stage and can work out the flow rates then I think that is going to be MASSIVE news.

Thanks for sharing DRichi. Short but very informative note. From this I would say 5000 is a minimum. Maybe PL was setting expectations to beat fairly low at 4000 bopd so to get past that. I'm more like you and expect the company with 1 or 2 good acquisitions to get to 10000 bopd or above. Sounds from this note that there are many opportunities out there - it's just picking the right one(s)!

they delivered on their strategy in 2018 and now are looking forward to further growth in 2019. PL mentioned that he wouldn't be happy with 4000 bopd and I always feel that behind the scenes he and his team are always looking for the next opportunity. So, although 2019 sounds like it's going to be busy anyway for President their continued emphasis on acquisitions means I think we are going to get some very pleasant surprises this year. One other thing I picked up from his recent interview with Malcy is that PL mentioned exponential growth for shareholders which to me suggests some good organic growth but also and I think this is more likely to give the rapid growth some really good acquisitions.
