Thank you for sharing this. It pretty much totally contradicts what seems to have been stated in the Evening Standard. How are they allowed to print such an article if it seemingly has no foundation?! Very odd indeed.

this share might be worth after 2 years of drilling and results but do people on this bulletin board consider £2 per share to be out of the question - about 10 times the current so or in value terms about £1bn? Or is that estimate/guess way to high/low?

President's website re President being well positioned for further Neuquen basin acquisitions. That's very encouraging and good to know as PL has said in one previous interview - they are in the right Post Code!
Onwards and upwards - lets hope a lot of people who do their own research see what a bargain price this sp is.
Would also be interesting if President were to raise more money if they would consider a rights issue to reward long term holders in the shares.

It's the assets that have always kept me interested. Initially I was interested because of a promise of a large demand for gas, great potential and a close relationship with the Tanzanian government who wanted foreign companies to come into the country to assist with exploration of gas and oil. It's this last part for a number of months I have struggled with. Logically speaking if all of that was true then why would the government not be falling over themselves to sign licences etc, etc but history seems to suggest otherwise. It took an age to agree the PSA and now an age for the licence. I therefore again trying to be logical have to ask the question why? Given what the picture was that was originally painted I really struggle to understand why this is the case. Do the Tanzanian government lack funds?

I sincerely hope Paraguay isn't going to fail as this would have a big influence on the company if that was the case. From the two other posts today though Paraguay does seem to be a major concern to some shareholders. I hope it does prove successful but to me the risk would have been nice shared with another company farming in but it sounds like PL is determined to drill and with this well, for whatever reason he seems to think it less risky than previous ones - fingers crossed.
Something else I came across today that might be of interest. It related to another company but made me think would it have any relevance to President Energy and any funds required for future acquisitions. It was something called reserve based lending - with the new report that has just come out does this mean if President did need/want to raise money they could do this more easily now on the back of an improved reserves report?

I hear what you say about carrying on with what they've got and trying to more or less double existing bopd to 6000 bopd(did they quote this figure somewhere? I remember PL saying he wouldn't be happy with 4000 bopdthis year but cannot remember 6000bopd being quoted anywhere) If they achieve 6000bopd that would be fantastic!
I thought though when they made there last acquisitions it was at that time that the sp jumped, or was it only when they started to produce good results from the new assets.
Given all this I am really hoping we have a big success in Paraguay as that would change things completely too!

lack of movement in the sp. The two things that don't give me cause for concern are :-
1. I like President's strategy and they are delivering on it.
2. They have promised exponential growth this year and it looks fairly certain there will be some acquisitions this year too!

great RNS and that's the start - more acquisitions to come later in the year me thinks. Remember that quote from PL in the last Malcy interview when they were talking about acquisitions. PL said to Malcy - you almost winked at me there Malcy when Malcy had asked the question re whether there would be more acquisitions.
Will the current reserves report bring about a re rating by the brokers?

a way to sell some of their Rovuma share to raise funds. It's a shame Aminex cannot use some of the funds they will be getting to increase their share of the project and would supply Solo with the funds they require. A win-win for both companies. Are you listening Jay!
