I recently did some work for the Concorde Club near Heathrow. It's BA's social club. I was due to provide the same service for the club at Gatwick but the work's not been forthcoming. This could explain it

I'll be glad if BA and their overinflated ticket prices leave Gatwick, their surly staff are better suited to Heathrow and skanky west london ;o) Gatwick is a very pleasant airport, especially the North terminal where BA flights arrive and depart.

It's got nothing to do with oil, can't find any news since July or a broker recommendation. However, petertee is correct that as of 31/3/08 they had total assets of £700m, £70m in cash and very little borrowing. Not sure what 'provisions' is in the liabilities but with other liabilities the nett assets are approx £400m Personally real estate in India isn't a sector I would consider

Trouble is getting hold of the stuff!

Trouble with oil is that production could easily exceed demand. The oil produxers would not want to mine it and then sell it off at today's prices and will therefore cut production. Some have big loans to repay and have to mine it in order to raise cash and so their turnover targets have to be slashed accordingly. Some wont recover, the ones that can reduce costs most drastically and who have the smallest borrowing will IMO survive and thrive

Sounds like the cash register is ringing for Allied Gold directors. $0.35 is 16p which represents a premium on today's SP so would be unlikely to be exercised unless the share is above 16p. Let's hope they're exercised

I bought back in at 4.25p earlier, skipped 14p to 4p. This really is a pathetic share price for Albidon

Con, How's that? I've had no probs with them. I pay £6.95 per trade and get a live price on all shares. Only the lack of a stop loss irritates me.

DJ is up to 8977.8 and it looks likely that it'll test 9700 according to the chartists. That means, for the time being, that the gold shares may be pegged back. When gold races up it'll be because the dollar is on the verge of collapse so other factors may come in to play. Making a killing seems easy on paper but in reality most things balance out. Jalfriezi is my fave btw :o)

Ace! What you buying in to next and did you step in doggy poo recently? PS, I broke a mirror earlier this year, and everything seems to go the wrong way for me. When I buy they drop, when I sell they go up. Honestly, it's the anti-midas touch! You only have to see UEN to realise how bad my decisions are. I would've defo sold by now but that's not the point.... ;o) I trade through HSBC InvestDirect and they don't have facility for a stop loss, that is why I usually sell too early. Not sure how to get around that problem. You got online yet?

I've been out working in today, forgot what work was tbh, it's been that quiet :o( Glad you've dipped your toes in here, keep an eye on CRND as well, they have huge gold reserves. IMO the South African economy will receive a boost and welcome exposure through the World Cup etc and they're worth watching. Looking towards Ghanaian shares ATM. Will let you know regards that soon. As for SOLG, I bought in on momentum from here and are currently at break even. Kept my investment around the £300 mark, just for fun.

These don't seem to swing much in the market, today was about the biggest swing I can remember in a month or so. All my miners seem to be slowly going up, Cluff, CRND and GGG also. Topped up some more CRND earlier, in preference to these, but will add more of these next week if I can afford to
