You sold yet?

23-27 now. Genuine OMG

It's nice to know that bad decisions are not just the doyen of newbies like myself. I bought the day of the big fall thinking they'd bounce a little way back and they've just kept falling. I bought 4000, sold half at 220p and no hold a measily 2000 shares. I'm considering averaging down though but don't know enough about the financial status. I should be slapped for impulse buying a well known brand

I'm in this at 25p so making a profit and am STILL not going to sell. Yours Mr Foolhardy

Is one share that I've not lost on in all this turmoil. I've bought and sold twice but had to wait a while for the slow swings in price. This share snakes it's way through the week gracefully. Without the need to be ramped either.

No worries fella, I'm sorry for being insensitive too. It's not in my nature to row, not even on the internet :o) It happened ridiculously fast on this, and I set my sell at 24p (after getting in at 18p). When the sale went through the price I sold at was 30p. At 36p there were folk on here saying 'sold too early' but applying the same time scale, if I'd waited until the price was 36p it would eventually sold at 24p on the way back down. Really bad luck for you though, the only thing I learnt from this is that next time I deal in a share that's moving this quickly, I'm going to do it over the phone to my broker. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you if you're seeing this one out.

When I said 'move along' I didn't mean ignore anyone but that the big movement up was a flash in the pan and now the share has settled again. Sorry if you misinterpreted it. It's still 33% up on the week, and performing much better than any of the rest of my portfolio. FWIW some of the good and great on here advocated top slicing and keeping profits invested, they'll be down in pocket too. I know as much about the share as you, I was just lucky that my timing was right, and it was luck. I've been wrong on a load recently. I think that the momentum was an initial misinterpretation of the offer and that the share will not experience those rises in the short term again.

Hey, no need for that. It's not my fault that you've got a lot of money on this. Had you heard of this company before you invested? You know the risks, I don't think abuse like that is called for :o(

They're not worth 52p, that was the valuation when the offer was made based on the share price at that time. Nothing to see here now, move along.

Based on information known and on paper, ie financial status and gold reserves, the answer's yes. Politically, Cluff is in a more unstable area. However, nothing's that easy to predict and only invest what you're sure you can lose in it's entirety.

I don't want to lead you to a duffer! I think there will be some moderate falls this week, with little gain so would consider keeping clear until thursday. CRND is a share I have though and am looking to increase my holding in. Check the good work that kalexander has done on the share, he sells it well!
