I've been trying to decide which shares in my portfolio to sell and this is the one I have the biggest investment in. Can't bring myself to flog them though, not for sentimental reasons but because things are about to get so bad that gold has to rally. Gold producers will benefit first IMO.

The dollar wont strengthen that much, it's poised for a fall soon.

My perspective is that you need to do your own research and judge the timing. I sold at 1.05p and it's fallen back a little since then. If you think this could go up then it's your call. I'd rather day trade as I've not got the balls to hold shares overnight that I haven't researched. I'm always candid on here and am honest enough to admit that I buy without researching if I think the share price is getting a bit more attention than it perhaps warrants. However, timing is everything

There's no way that a few people on a bulletin board can affect share prices. What goes on here is not ramping, it's a notification service of market movements. If helpful folk want to advise others of a fast moving share then why shouldn't they. The advice given in the last hour or so on here highlighted the FALL in price just as much as the rise in price.

It's not too late if you think it's got the legs to get to 2p. Buy is currently 1.25p GL

I know, but InvestDirect has no facility for stop losses so if I can't keep an eye on it then I have no choice but take the profit. I'm stuck with InvestDirect as my broker too because I have a Premier account which demands a certain level of investment or savings. Still, I'm happy turning around double digit profit in 20 mins! It's started to move a bit now, sell is catching up. I got in at 0.8p (thank KIS) and sell is now 0.9p, might sell soon as already 12.5% in profit.
