Hello mate, yes. Great company, well managed. Think my average is around 22p but happy to hold for a year or so as firmly believe they'll emerge stronger after recession. Share price has been as high as 1100p recently, 28p is an insult!

Pass fella, not seen any news to back up SP rises. It may just be investors realising that the sky hasn't fallen in and that this company is well oversold. Made comment on Zurich contract on a CRND post a moment ago. I think they've hedged bets here on an upturn in household claims (stating the obvious, I know!) and that they'll welcome the extra cash to keep workforce busy.

Who knows but it's good to see! Solid company is RoK. Well run, with plenty of cash. Suffered drastically after a profit's warning.

It's not going to fly fella, no new news here. I've made an investment here as I think there could be an upturn in the security industry this year and VSC could benefit. I'd not imagine much movement here until a few weeks before result in March. Bad figures would drive it down but I think the market has ignored the fact they're making money and have resolved issues. Hence possible upturn.

Trying to find other home security providers, found a trade association with a few 'plc' members but none of them seem to be listed. ADT certainly aren't, although that mistake could easily be made... ;o)

Stop ramping it Tim ;o) Did a bit of research today. I'm sure that the security industry will benefit as people are actually going to put money under matresses, or gold in safes. This lot developed wireless system, GSM connectability and so can be done at home by DIY. Profit growth of 4x on increased sales growth. They've even paid a dividend last two years! Share price has very little movement. Two bigs drops recently may coinside with a couple of bits of negative news. First was a spat with Credit Suisse, now resolved which meant VSC had $3million approx returned to them by the bank. Second was an interim trading statement which said sales were strong but that they could not comment on 2009 as their sales were 'last minute'. I've bought 2000 shares, trying to drag my portfolio up market and think these fit the bill. GL with yours! What inspired you? People are going to think this is the ramp we mentioned this morning, fvck 'em if they do ;o)

ergo, if the spread stays as wide and you buy at 2p, it'll need to go to 2.5p before breaking even!!
