US might be a test later though for RR, after the sell-off Friday perhaps continuing, along with fundamental fragility of 10 yr paper nearing 4.5% and said bond buyers becoming parsimonious in extremis.

Hope it doesn't come to pass, but loins are girded for a 3% drop by close tomorrow.

Has the bank holiday taken its toll with the in-laws (aunt infestation !?) for some, as much gilt-edged delusions of adequacy being spouted.

Feared it might follow Asian Mkts, but didn't comment at 3.30am this morning, as didn't want to sound like a broken record/Eeyore-esque.

2.30pm might elicit a fillip if the US investors drop in again as per yesterday.

Very good day, adding 1.3% to the 2% I'd expected.

The extra mostly coming post DOW opening (on heels of China/Boeing announcement) and at Boeing's 1.3% drop expense perhaps.

Be an interesting/good day again tomorrow I'm hoping.

Cheers Fitzy. Great potential. Moreover BOEING down 3% on futures for an hrs time. Dow futures up 1.5%. Predicated perhaps as Trump has started making noises about helping US motor/car/bike companies with imported parts (even Harley Davidson's have a good % parts from Asia, Australia and Italy) which is following the road of the climb down on Tech imho.

Its 6p a share as pointed out, so likely impact up to or around that fig following day....which is hardly going to be spotable in all the goings on. Once again apologies for

incorrect musings of an old man.

Sprint RS the dividend is 6% (was 4% last time in 2019) so c £0.40p or so a share. Drop on day after ExDiv day can be between 0-100% of the dividend paid eg our 40-45p but usually falls within 30-60%. thus 20p is quite likely.

Now worth stating some shares are so volatile it's hardly spotted the next day or so, and if we get an inherent good fundamentals on the 18th it could get lost in the good news or if bad news compound the melaise of a day loss. I'm thinking 15-25p on an even day of news too btw.

Think E/D date is 17th. happy to be corrected.
