Metro Mgt Team, I'd be getting the team together to try and winkle out niche opportunities for specialist export lending/uk in-shoring incentives and the like....

Made mistake in Mar 2020 of staying out in the 'equity sale', not doing it again....RR is gilt edged stock imho, albeit fluffed up a bit last year or two.

Given up trying to second guess on this. The increasing of cash-flow gobbling retail bank units in the midlands and east Anglia and north especially odd, as it appears diametrically opposed to 'specialist lending' selling needs!

On the stocks prices this appears a gilt-edged (lowish vol) manipulationfest as Pyjamas and others so rightly said. Only way we'll ever get out from being upside down is a sale I fear. So just gonna ride the coat-tails and hope for the best.... as thus far J.G.Bacal(Spaldy Inv) has rarely squandered cash away on losing ventures. Hope the circling short-hawks keep away too....Pictet @0.45% only one showing.

Thanks both good to be back better class of discussion albeit disappointment the main topic. I don't enter into any dialogue on RR forum as it is beyond puerile though.....investors/employees telling each other what holidays they are going to go on with their gains!

My main fundamental worry about Metro (over and above Chatterbots fine fin' analysis) is the words of my Economics Lecturer on my MBA in 89/91 and lumini Tom Peters, who were both adamant you couldn't shrink your way to greatness !

The numerous asset disposals (almost like cash-backing), downsizing, FTE slashing eg mortgage book sell off this morning another example ....So hoping they were both very wrong !

Back into the 80's today sadly, had been locked-on 91-92 for days....Suspect y/E figs in march will be next jump-lead jolt (either way).

6 Investors each sold 50,000 last 15 mins - bit of a red sea.

I'm thinking bumbling along 110 to 115 before the yr/E figs.

Frumkin says we are going to see profits, interest rates holding up for them, not sure how they going to absorb the FCA fine on accts.

If it all is smooth perhaps 1.25-1.40 for 25.

Can't see the (30 to 90) triple gains though going forward...(Underpriced/low hanging fruit is somewhat plucked plucked last 2 months or so imho)

Bit volatile this morning - £537,000 worth of shares bought by one investor yesterday at 3-4pm thought it would rocket....but dropped off end of day.

Who'd of thunk it - as Oct/November last year was rock bottom with bad press, bail-outs, outflow of cash, s. d. boxes etc....imho not a lot has changed except sentiment and mood and some sell-offs/cost-cutting - but long may it continue.....

Probably waited too long, but skin back in the game....
