DD77,
It does play into PHC's hands but possibly not as much as the continuing drought in the Americas. 2 points:
a - shareholders do not know the flexibility involved in the toll manufacturing contract. If more demand is generated can the company actually meet it?
b - during presentations the company regularly stresses the reluctance of farmers to adopt new practices. Farmers may be more prepared to start using PHC's products but are more likely to start using any new products on a small percentage of their farmed land. The NPK price hikes may be a great recruitment tool but any benefits might only flow through in a few years if they were to decide to use the products on all of their land.
Customer retention seems key; those who are adopting use of PHCs products seem to keep using them. I think that it will be a key metric to watch out for.
