The stories used to be about maybe next decade; maybe this decade is quite something.

I listened to the Blue Dot's "Fall 2022 Respiratory Disease Trends & Forecasts". Flu variant A is expected to be the main type this year, and it is generally more dangerous than variant B strains. They expect higher levels of both Covid and Flu to put strain on health services, so keeping safe and not having to rely on an overburdened NHS will be important.
