Weed should be legalised for private consumption; purchase from a licensed dealer [such as an off-license] and be allowed to grow a few plants at home [maybe 4]. GOV collects taxes, damages organised crime and does not criminalise people for a trivial offence.

There is a certain type of logic behind the plans; it reduces demand on the NHS, frees up social housing, reduces benefits, reduces future state pension payments etc. And, as an added bonus, cancer treatment for those who can afford it will become cheaper as all of the ex NHS Oncologists will be chasing a smaller pool of private punters.
