I get it but blame the people responsible for the situation we are in not the people that the public have voted in to try and resolve the problems; it just sounds like sour grapes when people blame Labour for the failures of the Conservatives.

I agree, it is disgraceful the amount of damage that Labour has done to the economy over the last 14 years; at least they have started to come clean about the country's problems. And, money is going to get tighter as NATO gets shaky and more needs to be allocated to the defence budget.

I take some comfort from it being a decisive victory, which should mean less political violence over the next few months. However, there are still those who believe in 'accelerationism' who will pose some threat; there will be an increase in attacks on power infrastructure.

I doubt that closing the Dept of Education; putting an anti-vax conspiracy theorist in charge of health; imposing tariffs on imports or deporting low-skilled labour in a tight labour market whilst cutting taxes is going to juice the economy. But that is Democracy; it would not be my choice but it is theirs.
