The question was why is a gradual recovery expected and what significant news is expected.

If you read through the posts on this board it seems to be a consensus that there will be a fundraising round in the event that no deal is concluded before the end of the year. The decline in the share price seems to back that up.

That is why I asked Fredd1eboy why he expects a gradual recovery is expected and what significant news is expected.

Why do you think that their will be a gradual recovery and what significant news are you expecting. Others are expecting a continued decline in share price before a discounted placing of all of the outstanding shares (374M).

The Loan is for a three-year term and made on an interest-free/fee-free basis and will be secured in due course.

It depends on what drives the profitability and the effect on the cash flow. In the meantime it is a case of blindman's bluff for private investors. I am expecting a 10 to 15 £M placing fully subscribed placing bought into by the current controlling shareholders.

It is just how low they let it go before the placing.

A new buyer could buy the entire placing at 1/2 a penny, giving themselves 41 percent of the enlarged shareholding. Slater could increase his holding significantly with the new buyer... All a bit complicated at the moment and little information is being released to the market about the deals that have been taking quite some time to advance.

If there is no progress on Brexit then the high street faces a bleak winter as people tighten their belts in the face of uncertainty. Only the fittest will survive and Debenhams has been wounded, as reflected by the continued drop in share price.

The high street as we knew it is changing and their will be other casualties.

Bondholder allows conversion into shares at 20p in the pound instead of buying on the open market - are they expecting a rise or just clearing the decks to sell the newly issued shares to claw back some of their money?

I am sceptical but good luck to the traders.

You may be a bit optimistic if you think this will reach 60p in the next few weeks. I would be happy to see 1p again.
