I was nearly 50 percent in profit 2 months ago and was hoping for a 1.35p exit price resulting from a wave of Christmas bonus money [and time off fomo] euphoria.

But the drop in the price of oil has outfoxed me for now. I have been considering my position and have decide to hold in the anticipation of the shortage of steel in the wider US economy [Trump's tariffs] and Brexit uncertainty [lower £ $ rates].

Steel shortages in the US will constrain the potential flow of the Permian Basin and marginal shale plays will fail if these $ prices of oil are sustained.

At least Reabold's forecast were done at a conservative $ price. I have posted the link below before - it is worth reading if you want to see how politics can interfere with asset prices.

It was sarcasm... I am an ex-holder waiting to see if there could be a profitable trade if a placing takes place before any significant news is released.

There are a subset of shareholders who religiously average down - it is a perfect scenario for those who are able to buy into a discounted placing or who trade the aftermath [ all in my opinion etc]

The price got to 8p because of the buying pressure at 1.5p which, coupled with the low free float resulted in a spike. Rumours of imminent news will have helped but the fabled news may be a bit later than some expect.

As the RNS from the 18th of May states:

'both parties target to complete final agreements before the end of 2018'

The unaudited interim accounts released on the 27th of September state:

'We expect to have an agreement in place by December.'

I am confused... Surely shareholders are seeing the scales and reducing what they have on the table if they are expecting to be diluted.
