There is something to see here for once:

Yesterday the MMs were offering 1.06p on the bid - today the latest sells seem to be at 1.23. The effect of a 16 percent rise in the real BID should never be underestimated - it will awaken some algorithms and excite new shareholders and those who are considering being part of the placing [if there is going to be one].

All in my illiterate and unschooled opinion but the signs are something is afoot.

Automated news reports are suggesting a Williams Percent Range of -80.56. So the technicals may indicate oversold but many are expecting a placing.

Whilst I am sceptical as this is the AIM bull/bear ring... But, for once the number of trades is close to the number of posts on this board. Has someone disclosed any possible price? Is it a placing at a premium? Is this the fabled MM manipulation before a placing to create a market to sell the shares into?

Something seems to be happening and PIs do not appear to have all of the relevant information available to them.

I watch and wonder...

From the RNS [dated 17/10/18]

"The current cohort has already received the escalated dose. This marks the point that VAL201 entered the concluding stages of the Phase l/ll clinical trial. The VAL201 compound has already demonstrated consistent safety and tolerability and signs of activity in previous patients treated with lower dosages."

Or you could say that as far as they are aware they have not harmed anyone with a low dose and they hope that a higher dose on carefully chosen patients will improve the 'signs of activity'. I had a look at the US Clinical Trials website for the VAL201 study - no data has been posted there yet.
