NASDAQ listing fees and annual costs are not significant compared to the minimum market capitalisation rule but when you account for the lawyers, promoters fees etc in runs into millions of Dollars.

When majority shareholders have to recapitalise a business they are happy to see the share price drop as it just squeezes out minority shareholders. It is why our economy is called capitalism, not socialism.

Surely my self-interest in timing buys and sells to make a profit in any investment decision is logical? As would not becoming emotionally attached to a share? As would being prepared to take a loss when my models predict a declining share price?

Anybody expecting an 'oversubscribed placing at 12p', seems, in my opinion, to be divorced from reality. Why would they be doing a presentation to prospective investors if they have already concluded a fundraising round at a 140 percent premium?

Pity that they now have decided that the original plan was in the wrong sequence - where were the 'experts'?

They won't even give you a fiver? I thought the drop of the ask to 0.55 was ominous but that is extremely alarming.

As C7 has presciently forecast with the 'other share', discounted placings and dilutions are often associated with AIM shares that have no revenue and start facing a monetary blackhole.

That is worse than my skim reading indicated.

So they want to sell another 33 percent of the shares in issue... I am not expecting the market capitalisation to increase after this anticipated placing so my calculation is 25 percent off the current share price if they place all the shares under resolution 17. And, will the £200m be enough if they do place at £6? Will they have to raise more capital as they were expected to raise over £300m? There are many unanswered questions which will not be helped by the chairman Vernon Hill appearing in a US court this week.

It will be interesting to see how this reacts over the next few days. No doubt people will be trying to ramp the 'nominal amount of £32.15'.

The increasing price of POO will only last until towards the end of this year according to my model, so the increase in producing asset valuations may end up being transient.

The potential short term upside looks interesting - I only got 23 percent off last year's X-Mas spike; this may offer another payday.

With the Saudi Aramco IPO due soon they may not increase production as Trump is expecting, so crude might increase further in the short term [forthcoming US elections will force Trump to try to lower gasoline prices in the run up to them].

All speculative statements but I see some short/medium term trading opportunities - will Modi risk the ire of Trump during the Indian elections?

I do not view VAL201 as 'old hat'. Funding for further trials of the drug will have been hampered by the hype around CAR-T therapies but that hype has died down and the share prices of many immunotherapy drug discovery companies have slumped, and with that the funding that could have gone towards their trials is more likely to be available trials by companies such as Valirx.

CAR-T therapies have had limited success treating solid tumors - any drug that can slow tumour growth and reduce metastasis (which is what the VAL201 trial is attempting to prove) would be well received by the market.

My post was just a response to the post about a 20 bagger from VAL201 and wondering if there was some research that I was missing.

Despite what some may think, I would like to see progress with Valirx's compounds for both Cancer sufferers as well as the shareholders. I may well end up buying shares here again once funding is clearer.

Most of you seem to grabbing at dreams... A share does not drop by 70% on a Grand Jury Indictment without good reason... And the company that spun INDV out [RB.] would not drop by nearly 10 percent if the wider market did not fear contagion.

I do not subscribe to all of Woodstock's comments but the dreamers need to understand the political environment that this action is being taken in. The Virginia senate seat will not be contested when Trump seeks re-election but he will be looking for any political win that he can get. Extracting maximum penalties from a non US company as part of his opioid war will play to his base, especially if the case can be escalated by his Attorney General to the Supreme Court.

I believe that the politics that are in play will 'trump' logic.

Like Phrontist, I had hoped for more. I knew when I bought my shares that speculative AIM oilers can bring pain or gain. Unfortunately, despite an initial gain, I ended up with pain. I wish good luck to those who remain or who are considering investing for the first time but my timing just got me a sour lemon, and I only got a 50% refund when I decided to leave the party early.
