'The White House said Trump instructed his trade team to create "tailor made" deals for the nearly 70 countries that have reached out for talks.'

The US does not have the capacity to negotiate 70 trade deals at the same time... Might be prudent to have a large cash position and not be tempted with those 'dips' as they might be like those buses that you wait for, and then a whole load come one after another.
Perplexity:
A farmer ignores a single rotten plum in his sack, believing it insignificant. Yet the rot spreads, infecting the entire harvest, until the sack holds nothing but decay. Similarly, U.S. tariffs on China, intended to protect domestic markets, backfire. Rising costs stifle demand, inventories pile up, and businesses slow as retaliatory measures sever supply chains. The economy spirals into deflationary depression—prices fall, wages stagnate, and unemployment spreads. Like the farmer clinging to a rotting harvest, the refusal to address systemic decay accelerates collapse. Protectionism becomes poison, and the nation is left choking on the ruin it failed to confront.
