That's an incredible rampup of grid level battery storage in the UK: Nearly 7 GW with planning permission applications.

Yes...actually I was wondering the other day which VAL drug has the highest commercial expectations. We all tend to think of VAL201 as being the prize pony, but on the other hand hormone blockers are a crowded market and the USP is all about lack of side effects and efficacy in extreme cases.

I personally think VAL101 has a higher potential, if it can be safely proved to manage BCL2-related cancers, BCL2 is involved in a wide range of cancers, although I am not 100% clear if VAL101 would work on all types.

Interesting that Satu is attending the UK Gov't Life Science debate, ironically that meeting has a primary focus on securing long-term patient capital for small UK biotechs struggling for capital. That committee has some pretty eyepopping goals about creating new UK super biotechs, perhaps best demonstrated by Woodford's patient capital funds / the Syncona portfolio / Autolus / Arix Bioscience have been the best performing in that department. I think their target is to develop 4x UK biotechs with a minimum market cap of £20bn inside 10 years...crazy blue sky thinking there! and please let's not too excited about that prospect at Valirx....). Depends on your time outlook fpvone. In 2019 not much is changing as I see it, a bunch of supply chains are delayed, some South American output increases are up for debate due to the water/environmental debates.

Market demand is up solidly perhaps 20-30% increase in the last year, so any supply that does come online is hoovered up pretty quickly, usually in RMB! (not sure if they'll accept bitcoin....).

The market seems to want to support EU lithium especially out of recent lows. My gut feeling says that moving into 2019 the 2020/2021 timescales will be more appealing to more investors (2 year timeline far better than 3 to the human brain!)

In summary, who knows :)

PS Tesla banging the cars out at a rate of knots will change market dynamics, if they can add another 50% increase on the Nevada battery line that will distort the world supply somewhat. And if the rest of EU/China electric busses and Indian move to electric tuktuks/eBikes it boggles my mind the scale of supply we need to bring online.

So the Lithium hydroxide process scheduled to complete late October but it's drifted into early November, fab I can deal with that.

So hopefully get those dozen or so drillholes drilled by Christmas and let the technical analysts review them. DFS on the way...

Basically a whole lot of new holes in the ground at Cinovec

European Metals Managing Director Keith Cough"lan commented, "We are very pleased to have begun our DFS drilling programme so soon after receiving permission for the work. This drilling campaign will provide an upgrade to the existing resource at Cinovec. We are excited about the acceleration in the rate of project development that has been achieved by the team in recent months. We look forward to soon being in a position to release the results of our lithium hydroxide, final product, option study."

HIGHLIGHTS

· The planned diamond drilling resource campaign has commenced.
· A total of eight resource drill holes will be completed during this campaign with the first hole already completed.
· Geophysical logging of the first four geotechnical drill holes at the proposed mine portal site has been completed.
· A further five geotechnical drill holes are planned once resource drilling has been completed.

That very last comment is very interesting in light of what Keith has recently announced, albeit from a rival company in the lithium mining space.

"Mr Sage is also chairman of European Lithium (ASX:EUR), which owns the Wolfsberg lithium project in Austria. Europe has declared lithium and cobalt “critical minerals” and is aggressively pushing to be a bigger supplier. Once our [definitive feasibility study] is done we will get significant help from the EU to build the plant there,” Mr Sage said. They want three or four hydroxide plants all over Europe so 30 or 40 per cent of the world’s supply can come from a different spot.”

I would describe myself as semi-technical (MSc) albeit with no formal qualifications in medicine, a curious mind as they say. My old professor used to tell me that if you cannot break down a complex topic into a multitude of simple steps, then you probably never understood the topic in the first place.

Perhaps you are being a touch paranoid. On this occasion, I merely enquired politely if my understanding of the theory was reasonably correct. I was quite enjoying that thread. I have my good days and my bad, I had my reasons to be annoying once or twice, but in general that's not my style.

There has been some chatter that large oil companies execs now think that lithium threatens future oil and gas prospects, execs have a habit of doing odd things in these situations, often jumping on the bandwagon in an attempt to placate investors into guaranteeing a diversified future.

Personally I don't see that happening here, Rio have their own big lithium project in Serbia to work on. BASF keep getting mentioned due to their work with Deutsche Lithium across the border, but at best they seem to be a chemical provider or process flow operator, not an equity partner or loan finance house.

I assume HE3DA still want to source our Lithium, although they've gone fairly quiet in public about it.

PS Blackrock must have a few good contacts to introduce them to if finance is a problem ;)

Can I ask a basic question on MODI1, I am trying to read through the theory and write a laymans description of how MODI1 works.

Is a simplified explanation that citrullinated peptides appears to drive an immune response with increased CD4+ T Cell count, so MODI1 is a mixture of natural(ish) citrullinated proteins, delivered in the hope of overcoming the tumours local immunosuppressive environment, spurring a natural T cell attack on the tumour.

Citrullinated being a -NH3 branch on the peptide, changing the electromagnetic polarity of the peptide?

Am I massively out on any of that?
