Yes I had a very pleasant day down at the Cenotaph in London paying my respects. I had forgotten how loud those cannons are.

One of the things I like about Valirx's drug candidates are the general applicability to multiple cancer types, whether that is:

VAL201 (prostate, breast, ovarian, endometriosis, etc, where 201 prevents the sex-hormone driven cancers multiplying)
VAL401 (lung, prostate, pancreatic, stomach, i.e. those with a partial glandular origin)
VAL101 (breast, lung, lymphomas, leukemia, i.e. functionally targeting the BCL2 pathway).

VAL101 may plausibly have a distant future in other conditions, perhaps schizophrenia, although I doubt Valirx will look into that for many years

Hey Chelsea, what's the reason for the big SCLP drop this week? Just timing/sentiment or what? I did quite enjoy reading their theory (a little over my head, but the basic concepts I could just about grasp).

3 members of Valirx BoD bought £10k each of shares last March (2017). Not mind blowing amounts, but that's ~ 10% of George's salary for the year, so not a trivially small amount.

I do like his presentation style, clever bloke, now just need him to deliver something tasty into my bank account.

Buys and sells are meaningless definitions, only the price and quantity traded really matter, ever trade is simultaneously both a buy and a sell (it takes two parties to make the transaction).

Imagine the ASK is 20p and the OFFER is 19p, you can buy all day at 19.6p and it will show up as a stream of "buys" on LSE, but the price will not change at all.

I said candid because he seemed to be implying it would take 18 months to partner VAL201, presumably once they have final dataset. I felt that was unusually candid, because normally the impression is given a deal is imminent, but for once he seemed to be kicking the can down the road for 18-24 months.

Of course, no deal at all is also entirely plausible.

Bwahaha... I am under no illusion what the likely next share movement for this share is. I have been here long enough. My forecast... Satu to RNS the 201 updates late November followed by a presentation by George, depending on content, price spikes to 6-15p, immediate equity release and probable drift down to 4p over the following weeks. Probably another slow drift beyond that. Unless of course the 201 results are better than expected and 401 contract updates are indicated.

I posted a link a few days ago about HE3DA. They have a variety of concepts, from shipping containers grid storage, to a 7kWh home-storage solution, right through into upgrading petrol stations to use a hydrogen-to-shipping-container-Li-Ion battery for charging cars from overnight wind turbines.

Nothing official on that though and frankly Tesla will speak to any novel battery/lithium co.

I'd be cautious on that final estimate for the US Gigafactory.

I wonder if Valiseek will be spun out into an IPO, this was hinted at late 2017, that would not be a terrible thing for Valirx as I recall Valirx had lent Valiseek several million pounds (IIRC) to complete the science and trial.

Jonjo, are they targeting prostate? Seems like a variety of other trials, colorectal included, cannot see a prostate target in there. They appear to be on the US share market

Out of interest, does anyone here hold Autolus? Apparently they have a prostate cancer CAR-T treatment in the pipeline, albeit a few years from a phase 1 study and they haven't published the targeting factor yet. UCL doing wonderful things with their prostate centre of excellence on early stage non-drug treatments also.

Some very interesting developments in the crowded prostate market recently, hoping that VAL201 can be part of that for hormonally responsive tumours, will be interesting to see if Endometriosis in pill form can break into its own market.

I didn't say it SHOULD have a £100m MCAP chap. Although either 201, 301 or 101 could reach that, if the blessed things work properly anyway.

Depends Jonbhoy, in the old days pharma bios would dream of the big unicorn £1bn selloff, in today's UK AIM climate you may be talking about £25m + staged milestone payments, or funding package to become a far larger AIM/Nasdaq co.

I got the feeling VAL probably turned down a £10-20m offer back when the price spiked a few years ago, in hindsight that may have been a poor idea as really none of us can say we have enjoyed the death spiral AIM masterclass. Did GM call it "a derisory offer"?! Or was that just message board banter?
