It'll be interesting to see what (if any) product takeover is organised. The winds of the industry suggest the government is preferring a smaller payment/IPO/UK expansion model, which could be OK but wouldn't be the 'big bang' many are hoping for.
It's a crowded market and it would be unusual to see someone fronting up billions, perhaps hundreds of millions upfront at the high end of results & expectations, the cancer treatment market is quite congested of late with many new developments (especially CAR-T, HIFU, etc.).
I would personally like it if Woodford, Arix, Syncona or GSK got involved. Although the Americans would probably pay higher upfront values.
...as always, we need a marketable product first, and we're not there yet.
