What you mean easier to do a deal because valuations are easier? From what I can see valuations are nothing but worse. Unless she means the fact the tax regime is set in stone now, and maybe she knows the labour won't adjust ?

What is everyone's thoughts on the latest Linda Cooks comments regarding her statement about more UK investments if the UK government can work with the company? I'm thinking maybe buying ENQ for its tax incentives as previously stated here .

Jefff, I'm well aware of the global agenda's to keep us working until we are 6 feet under while the elite live a life of luxury. However I guess while I work and am able to retreat to Greek Islands with beer being brought to my sunbed I won't worry too much. Its those who live in bedsits with poor paying jobs and no future to look forward to I feel sorry for (all because of the broken elite system).

Well from LC's comments it seems like hbr will fight for tax breaks regarding investment. After all CCS is still waiting for an investment decision from the company so tax breaks may be the answer to even further profit. Hbr have definitely been backed into a corner however with such strong financials and cash generation its still a good investment which should offer growth for years ahead. Its probably the best uk growth stock. Especially from today's levels of 230p with such good guaranteed divi ! And the many projects already confirmed.

Ft.com has released an article regarding the results , and LC has said the Talos deal is a no go in that piece !

Well there's plenty of potential positive news that will come tomorrow regarding the ccs and merger with Talos ! Along with the divi news too ! Wait until October by all means but by the UK gas prices will be extremely high and the poo will continue to be in the $80 range so don't know how your expecting the sp to tank before then? Plus you will miss out on the divi too ! Another deramper spouting negative nonsense.

While the dividend is paid there's no chance this will go to 150p. The price of oil/gas will have to decline massively but there's too much volatility with global supplies for that to happen. Really hoping there's news about the Talos merger tomorrow !

The share price had tanked while the poo and gas were high due to the dire forecasts that were predicted by the professionals , uncertain economic outlook in H1. Now the price of oil and gas has now found its floor , the uncertainties have now been resolved , economies look stronger albeit a little sketchy , the sp here will be less volatile so therefor this range is here to stay ! Remember hopefully the divi will be paid in September so then we will see 300p again.

Rookie , its comments like "if the sp dips below 240p hbr have major problems" that do my head in (from phoenixy if I remember correctly). The sp has seen lows of 220p and highs of 269p since the last tu , and is bang on where it was before the last tu. I say its a very comfortable share to hold and doesn't need any deramping nonsense. Same for Dr dong and Slater......oh and happy imvestor. Who the hell are these people ?

Surprised to see this share go even lower. Looks like the market are factoring in the worse case scenario for this company , debt and inflationary pressures. The costs of running this massive transport company will continue to rise and inflationary pressures will erode every penny they make. Could possibly take years for things to turn around so that's why this share is so cheap !

Great recovery back to 240p yesterday. Looking forward to results. In kos right now and the Greeks don't seem to care about inflation or what the yanks are doing :-) business as usual.

Well the good news today regarding retail sales is that the interest rate increases are working. Watch the market go into panic mode and then recover quickly next week ;-) as for hbr , if we go to 230's which I doubt it I will be buying more.

Well iv seen plenty of sells so far this week and not many substantial buys. I'm predicting a slow and steady increase from now up to the trading update on Thursday.

The sp would be higher imo as it wouldn't be as much of a trading stock. Its a small market cap for starters and with such large buybacks daily there's always large purchases going through , so I guess it's easy to manipulate. The pro's take profits as they know the sp will rocket with any good news. Rinse and repeat.

I think its the economic outlook and interest rate rises. And thanks , I'm sure one is due this month though.
