Feels like the traders are trying to shake out the weak hands here. If it falls to 220p i will double my holding. Simple as that.

The way this country is going 100'000s will be unemployed and that also includes 10,000s in the North Sea industry. So where will this government get the money from to subsidise these windmills once they have destroyed the most lucrative industry. What on earth are they doing? Come on Linda use your experience , you need to pull something out of the bag here.

The good signal is that the US markets are continuing their rally so therefor global stocks should be pretty stable. The pound also recovered against the dollar recently too which is a good sign. Strong markets mean strong jobs and economy , which therefor means oil demand will be stable . ;-)

Indonesia / Norway / Gulf of Mexico - this will be the catalyst for this share. I dont know how the government can justify a 75% tax at these prices , it is not logical one bit ! Fair enough tax gas production more but not oil ffs.

Well imo the reason why we havnt seen a trading update is because the Kings speech tomorrow (and Rishi's) regarding the North Sea and its plans for the future(promising licences annually). There's probably news in there that relates to harbour so therefor the management have to keep quiet until the news is out.

I think the fundamentals have changed here and thats why im out of this at the moment. The company need to add to their reserves quickly otherwise the SP will continue to be hammered. The world economy seems to be in a downward spiral , and the UK seems pretty exposed to everything negative right now. High interest rates which look like they will be higher for longer will slowly but surely cripple everyone so therefor the economy is going to be hit big time. I guess theres a reason why money has been moved to safe investments and im taking that approach right now.

I'm out waiting to get back in at 240p ;-) this shares doesn't even follow brent anymore ! Seems its a far bigger picture regarding the markets right now. Interest rate decisions next week , going to be a big week !

Thing is , what is there to sell ? Don't they just win the contracts? So therefor once the contract is up they will most likely lose it , along with the loss of cash over the contracts timeframe.

To be honest with the oil and gas prices as they are I would of expected the SP to be in the 300's ! But then this is a market and buyers are still invested in safe assets like the dollar and safer dividend companies. I guess with higher commodities then this just further puts stress on everything within the global economy. And then you have 75% tax going straight to the government. I wish I thought of this all before and just lumped a load into b&m and Tesco. That's what you call safe money with the company also paying a dividend, safe from any kind of windfall tax. Makes me sick when I could of bought tesco at 185p and b&m at 300p !! Ouch.
