Least the new debt is cheap , and HBR have reached new heights very cheaply and quickly by acquiring pretty decent assets. Would be nice for news regarding a Talos deal. I'm just bored chasing this share over so many years and still being no better off, even with this so called ground beating merge with Wintershall.......

So heres an idea , maybe EIG have sold part of their stake now to then buy back BASF's shares down the line when they go live (start selling) ?

its just left me very suspicious , why sell such a large holding (at a measly 265p) when the company is growing and just after the completion of a successful merger ?

Look , the government need oil and gas rather than oil companies needing the government. Unless the UK government turn into a dictatorship HBR will navigate the North Sea easily with their already establishes assets. Now its the governments turn to offer incentive to produce in the UK otherwise tax income will drastically fall and the UK government can not afford to lose that, its the most lucrative industry after all.

Thing is though , I can't get over how shares are manipulated to favor the banks and rich. You do have to question what the point actually is because you will never beat those guys , even if you hold a share and supposedly the most amazing news is released regarding mergers or acquisitions, they will just sell the SP off until it suits them! So therefor your holding is at risk ! This company is producing 500k boe a day , oil and gas prices are very healthy and yet we are still here at this sp after 2 years of holding. Like really..........

Sp needs to whizz through to 330p now .....

Thing is you lot usually say we will take off and then the SP tanks 20% ......

Well they had better get buying because I am getting bored. Been here for a few years now and being stuck at this level is really tiring. Hopefully the TU in Nov will be the catalyst.
