Yeah iv been watching Talos 's movements all week, every day has been 4% in the green ! I go on their stocktwits board to see if anything is said.

From what I know mergers aren't announced in trading updates but maybe there will be a clue tomorrow ! I really hope for good news.

The US are already pumping at record volumes ! They won't be able to pump more in the short term.

However green energy will be knocked on the head, maybe the end of the push for CarbonCapture? The UK government need to get their a*se in gear and decide what they want the north sea industry to become !!

From what I have seen previously mergers and acquisitions aren't announced in trading updates , however I expect to see an rns prior to the TU! Maybe we will see one tomorrow on budget day. Imagine that, Reeves announces wft increase and LC has already beat her to it by announcing hbr are leaving the country while selling the assets. ;-)

Today it's held up nicely given oil has tanked 6% ! Also the rns regarding "Talos" could drop at any time , we're some big buys today !

BASF have already said they won't sell for a few years to maximise the value of their holding so there isn't any short term risk there to worry about. I'm really hoping the Talos deal works out because that gives this share so much more opportunity. The US is clearly the way forward , and producing 600k boepd really is a big deal !

Trading update isn't far away so bound to see some buys in anticipation. Also hopefully an rns update will drop regarding the US acquisition;)

Checking Talos out they produce 95k boepd , and 70% of that is oil ,so will favour hbr massively.

Talos market cap is £1.3billion and is easily profitable and has some good assets.

I do believe this company participates in lumping the share price , Imo that's how it got to 330p , all good news released over 2 weeks and there you go , 330p reached and bam , the stock was sold all the way down to 300p , and then down to 270p. Lots of money made and pocketed. Maybe we are heading for another one of those company pumps !

Not saying yesterday's news isn't relevant. The fact Talos doesn't have a CEO and slim owns both says it all to me .
