RE: Morals and Ethics2 Aug 2024 21:20
People might have been getting ready for holidays on the other forum, even if not all others for some reason(s) all left that one to it.
One thing I will say is a while ago Banbury on this forum, said to me that he sold RRR at around about 1p but kept some in on the way down - which might have inspired his pub lunch comment re. value of holding. He won't correct you on small details, judging by the history of discourse but I'm not sure Helpful is wholly correct with a not particularly important detail but he is perhaps partly or largely correct. I am inclined to take that comment from Banbury at face value - so to speak, you don't have to agree but might be worth bearing in mind as you state something while your other elucidation is very well thought through and in my opinion, worthy of consideration.
On another note News, I did read and watch some "theatre of the absurd" which was as a matter of fact inspired by existentialism and the way some French philosophers explored that. The one play that stands out in my memory which I read and saw performed was one by Edward Albee... which was just performed by two actors (think you should look him up).
Apart from spelling one philosophical French writer wrong then quite quickly correcting and she was the only one I had never read... it was still spelt wrong... over there and yes had read some of the other philosophers he mentioned and written on them - though definitely "rusty".
News you are on ADVFN via another nickname, I am not, worth reading, through interesting RRR dates on that forum in March, think it was then won't that take that long, just skim read some interactive posts. It won't emphatically prove anything and you should be subtle if you do form an opinion that corresponds to what was suggested by one of the people conversing, you may already have considered it.
Now people obviously have a right to post across both forums with different nicknames, fair enough, you've had to absorb some verbal from both forums inspired by parody, I think it has been a little kinder recently and the later afternoon one over there was genuinely funny.
I can tell you've been mentally scratching your head and speculating so definitely worth considering but think you should be polite and subtle afterwards regardless of if you have sometimes felt provoked, and perhaps consider just quietly bearing it in mind for yourself.
So trying to be fair and we all have a right to read forums and if we are members and follow the rules then we can post, we can filter we can banter and some words might sometimes be more boring, so I am never plugging a brand even if I mention what I'm going to ear or drink, with all all due respect... with or without my daily bread so far... I'm going to have some Stout....
