Thanks for the explanation AJW, I think we are on the same page. My vision is that a stable free cash flow is a reasonable expectation but that great care is required to bring a full field online in order to efficiently extract reserves by optimising natural available lift.

That is why my timeline expectaion is very conservative.

Really? For a full field development? The subsurface needs to be completely understood, full fold seismology synchronised to well results (four to go still) inc coring and downhole petrophysics. Evaluate the while data set, commission whole field brand new CPR. Complete pre-FEED and send out to tender, examine tenders, decide on contractors and align financing. Build and install equipment.

Probably my timeline is on the less optimistic side maybe influenced by lack of onshore experience as an investor. We are talking in years rather than months though surely? 38 MMBoe liquids and 600Bcf gas, this is a substantial and far from fully understood field.

To upgrade offtake, storage and efficient delivery systems not just for 16aZ but for the entire field requires, da-naaaa a whole field appraisal! Some oil MAY be shipped but wouldn’t be lunacy to design and bulld an offtake infrastructure before appraisal information has been assessed and FEED authorised.

To specify (requires well analysis, more than just 16aZ) offer for tender, assess results and fund a project requires two years at least surely?? Four more wells at least are needed to expand sub-surface knowledge on West Rustavi alone. Unfortunately most PI’s are hunting for massive short term gains but regrettably, in E and P, that rarely happens.
