RE: Trading up-date3 May 2022 10:15
Just got back from my holidays to see that nothing has changed, Tom still banging of his 5 year drum of "Carolyn out"
Oh dear, it beggers belief why Tom would purchase shares @92p, 84p & 76p in ITV when he has such a low opinion of the CEO running the company? I see from the AGM that our Dame was overwhemingly backed with 99.5% of shareholder votes. As I presumed and predicted. Maybe it's time for Tom and his crew to sell up and move on with their constant bellyaching.
I see that a potential £2 billion valuation placed on Channel 4, I don't see that valuation myself. This should help put a floor under the current out of favour ITV price.
It makes no difference to the share price/valuation of ITV what particular index they're in. If ITV are in the FTSE100 or FTSE250 index as we found out over the past 2 years. They will be fund managers of the FTSE100 index who have to sell, but also fund managers of the FTSE250 who have to buy. So IMO a pointless coversation. However, lets not lets not spoil the bears fun.
