So true mate. Tom hasn't had a good word for ITV for years, he's now a shareholder. You really couldn't make it up. He thinks in his small mind that all the negative talk that he's made on this board over god knows how many years that he's helped with the drop in the share price. It's got nothing to do with Putin's war. He's always said that a takeover will never happen, you've guessed it, he now thinks that it will happen @£1 per share. He's deluded if he thinks management and large institutions would sell out at such a low valuation. This proves to me that he's clueless, absolutely clueless.

Agreed, let's put this into prespective, ITV have reported that they intend to spend £1.23bln this year on new content, they had previously guided £1.16bln. Massive overreaction by the market.

Hawi I'm with you mate. CEO's should be judged on their financial results. The results were very good, a record, yet people just look at the share price and want change.

Davielad, I think that Russian shorter's are behind today's share price collapse.

In all my time of investing 37 years, I've never seen a company report record FY results and the share price collapse 27.5%. ITV market cap is down over £1 billion today. This is crazy and shouldn't happen.

I agree EmeraldCarrots, I'm shocked that our BOD think that they can compete with the large streamers. We have gone from saying "We are not a competitor to NetFlix" to becoming one. ITV don't have the finances to compete with the large streamers. This looks to me like they are playing Russian Roulette with ITV and it's shareholders. On a day that should have seen excellent FY results, it's turned out to be a car crash. What a mess.

Excellent results as predicted. Beat market expectations on everything. Net Debt cut, dividend reinstated of 5p annual 2022. 3.3p to be paid in May 2022. Well done CEO Dame Carolyn McCall. Now let's get this share price where it should be trading @170p.

ITV share price pulled back what we lost yesterday, closing up 5.05p 4.78% on more than double average volume @21.7m. Daily average volume stands @8.9m.

3 off-book trades just gone through @16:21pm totaling almost 6 million shares.
