Just had a quick look at sou. Most things -ve, and exploration, which I don't touch.
You could find a 10 Bagger (maybe sou), but you probably need to invest in 20 to find one.
For me the only way to do well in investing is to identify companies which are undervalued and wait for their value to be realised. Hence builders for me (and nano).
My port is looking seriously bad right now, but just need to be patient.

Nano Tech is the next revolution.
Worst possible case a company (hopefully nanoco - or their US Partner) will buy agma for which they will pay (a lot) more than 148, just to tidy up IP (like arm did a few years ago).
Don't think I will lose money on agma, but an important idea to remember is that UK (is/was) leading the World in Nano Tech. If Samsung now involved might not last long!
My little daughter says it is just gambling (she's probably right!), but I have made far more than I have lost in the last few years (despite DotCom Bust and Builders Brexit).

I am putting together a message to justify that statement, which (hopefully) will create a good discussion and distract us from the current mood of despair on this board.
Finally got Company Refs today, (3 weeks late) but doesn't work (aes.dll missing). Can probably fix that - just a pain.

My av 148 and just not worth selling (0.4% of Port).
If they are ever able to mass produce graphene cheaply the price will go ballistic.
Even if it costs more than gold I am sure there will be a specialist market cos of properties, so still a future.
Mrkt Cap £8 Mn, nano company just sold for £600 Mn (just for patents)

Have you thought about getting back into Builders?
Their Per's are so low now No Deal Brexit is built into their prices (UValued now by about 50%).
Imho just 3 possibilities
1 Deal made and things return to normal - Bldrs inc sp by about 50%.
2 No Deal Brexit and referendum called, vote to stay in - Bldrs inc sp by about 50%.
3 No Deal Brexit and referendum called, vote to leave anyway - Unlikely but Bldrs sp eventually inc sp about 50% as it is realised that No Deal Brexit has almost no affect on Builders results.
The above ideas are complicated by the possibility of a new election which could delay things.
Conclusion.
Builders Sp will increase by about 50% in 6 months to 3 years time depending on options above.
But in the mean time still picking up almost 10% yield while Eps also increasing (psn 13% ! - which implies further incrase in yield).

If these are nano QD's and available before Chistmas sales data (revenue) should reflect this. Don't know what the lead time between producing dots and selling screens is, or when last statement from nano will be before Christmas.
Despite Sp I think nano are looking very good right now for many reasons, but decided not to top up until price 50 (when I will be sitting on a nice little profit).

First of all I apologise for talking about nano on this board.
I hold 5 builders bdev, rdw, bwy, psn & tw. The prices of these are highly dependant on the performance of each other and since psn just published Interims (which I thought were excellent, but the market didn't) these results might have affected other builders sp. For this reason I think it is justfiable to discuss other builders on this board (and also because hardly anyone posts, or reads? the other 4 - though hardly a reason).
I agree it is not really justifiable to post messages about nano here, but I know Tom and Troubles bought shares in nano after one of my posts (like have you looked at nano). Tom now out,
I don't think I would ever say 'nano will rise 300%' - rather than stating some ideas which I believe could justify that price, and it was Tom who said ' Top up for sure'.

Reckon nano must be worth at least 10 times that, probably much more ie £6 Bn +, which is quite a return on current Mrkt Cap of £ 89 Mn. Infers Sp of about 370 (round 10 * increase!)

A post on nano board said Ziylo (or something) just been sold for £600 Mn. Set up by a professor and his Phd student (2 people?). Nano materials again - start of nano boom?
The point is nano Mrkt Cap just £89 Mn now (with loads of Phd's, Patents,,,)

Seem to remember everything being up about 5% in PreInt, so 13% inc in Pbt and Eps is excellent. The other outstanding thing to me is increase in margin from 27.6% to (an almost embarrassing) 29.7%.
Expected Sp to take Off, but psn and tw slightly down on week while bdev, rdw and bwy are up.
Makes no sense at all, but that's just Snafu as usual.
Did you notice more and more posts on nano mentioning Apple as US partner, News must break soon, with sales etc if so nano 100+?

Vision 2
From mobile phone you can target a terrorist any where in the World (even though switched off) by Gps and land a Hellfire on his head.
You have to get an AutoTaxi in any city to move any distance, which is better cos it says where you are going and when you will get there. Also anyone not carrying a mobile will be regarded as a potential terrorist and be intercepted. All transactions via mobile (so essential), so cashless Society and everything traceable.
Now is that what we want, bearing in mind that terrorism (and even minor crime) becomes almost impossible without the intent being discovered before you can even carry it out, and if you do commit a crime you will almost definitely be caught.
Vision 3 is how to address inequality, but not had that 1 yet.

Just like to say I am hugely impressed by your technical knowledge and your input to this board. You have detractors who Imho are fools. Just hope nano are not bought out like arm, but with major US ($1 Tn) partner and CIA, DOD and NSA on board, don't think there is much chance of that!

Doesn't add up to £300Mn. Anyway £4.1Mn tw not too significant, Steve Morgan (Redrow) still has loads of shares there (and his own agenda - buying a football club?) Only significant sale is bkgh, so glad I am out of that now, after making a decent return.

It doesn't really matter. You mention 2 big sells, each one will have had 2 big buyers or more likely 100's of buyers to reach the same number of shares as those sold. It also explains why you get the occasional B/S of 1 share (not a cryptic message). Say I sell 1000 shares and a buyer buys 540 next buyer wants 459 leaves - 1 more share to sell. Next buyer wants 2000 and he gets my last share then rolls on to next seller. This is what Sets does automatically.

Not only that but you can't sell any shares unless someone buys them off you. Buys always = Sells. They all went thru as sells because the trade price was lower than the UT price, cos of the late surge.
So meaningless other than a trend emerging that more and more trades are delayed. Why?
Any thoughts on my conspiracy theory?

Had a quick glance at ggp. Mrkt Cap £39 Mn, so no doubt Aim, and exploration company (neither of which I touch cos I think too risky).
According to my graphs, No Deal Brexit decline started 05/01/18 but Sp almost totally recovered until 08/06/18 when, I think, May made ultimatum to EU (and took control herself). Caused freefall to builders Sp.
That decline has almost stopped now, which means psn Interims (Tuesday) are critical in possibly creating the turning point of Sp movement.
Conspiracy theory.
May has no intention of making a Deal and calls a referendum - Exit with no Deal or Remain In. Then Boris goes for leadership (No Deal Candidate), but referendum before vote for new leader, and vote is to remain in. Boris is sacked and joins Nigel Farage in a new Hate Party.
And we all live happily ever after.
