Mananoutthehouse. Why do you care if the markets are being manipulated? We are all going to be very rich if we keep hold of our BLOE shares for another year or two so who gives a toss if the go up or down a penny or two without seemingly good reason.

I can't work out whether we benefit from a strong pound or a strong dollar. Clearly the oil we sell is priced in dollars so I'd always assumed that a weak pound was a good thing. However, looking at all the equipment we've been leasing of late, that is priced in dollars.

Is it just a case of selling we could do with a strong dollar, buying services a strong pound and thus once we are producing more than we are spending, a strong dollar is what we want.

Couldn't agree more Nigel, the impatient can be almost as annoying as derampers. Paul Haywood is a class act as far as I'm concerned, better to give a confident professional interview every month or two- a full on banquet of information rather than the weekly breadcrumbs that some shareholders would rather nibble on. Give it another week and they will be back squealing for lack of news regarding Well 38, acquisitions, BAGO connections etc.

What makes this all the more amazing is that oil is well down today, this is entirely PH and BLOEs doing with no external helping hands. We aren't dependent on Trump being nice to China or on how long OPEC+ are prepared to hold back production.

Have no sympathy Gizzard for people put off by the likes of Barnet Pedro. If they are too lazy to do their own research and not take the words of doom merchants as gospel, more fool them.

It's not as if it's difficult to read up on Georgia, its oil and its history, and of course this jewel we have called Bloe. It doesn't need a day in the British Library anymore- Hitler threw WW2 to get at these oil fields and they've been practically dormant for sixty years.

Am I correct in assuming that if the price of oil goes up by $1 then our netback goes up by $1 and not as a percentage? Thus if oil goes up by a third to $100 our netback will practically double to $70

I'd assume expenses in production are the same whether oil is $65 or $100

Our problem holding back production was two fold- lack of storage space for oil and the fact we aren't allowed to flare gas and don't have the means to tap it at the moment and as I understand the latter is still unresolved.

Are we going to be able to operate under a 'test' mode again for a while to make flaring permissible?

Just had a quick nose on the GEO board. Not only is Scamp the Dogger is in GEO but also Barnet Pedro. I honestly don't understand the thinking behind going into oil, gas, mining or other such AIM ventures and then squealing like stuck pigs and braying like Eeyore when things don't go to your liking.

Sorry Scamp but life for the average working class Georgian is preferable to that of the citizens Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Brazil, Honduras, Congo, Syria... in fact at least 150 other countries in the world so please don't expect me too lose too much sleep tonight.

Sievco, couldn't have put it better. Until six months ago I'd been out of shares for 20 years, kids, mortgage usual stuff. I soon realized that I had something different here, a potential multi-bagger and retirement ticket, sold everything else did as Andrew Carnegie said 'put all your eggs in one basket and watch the basket'. The oil and gas are in the ground, and I'd rather they take their time rather than waste a drop to please the impatient.

Why are people invested in a share when they are unhappy about it-? it's like hating their relationship or their job but sharing their pain upset with everyone around rather than getting out.

This all starts to make a bit of sense then. Can't blame the Georgian government for not wanting to waste a valuable asset just so impatient shareholders of foreign oil companies can benefit from the companies being able to produce more bopd. The oil is going no where so let them wait until they are in a position tap the gas as well.

It would also explain why no deal has been struck yet with Bago, Lucky or whoever else we may be able to sell the gas to- They have the whip hand here and are in a position to drive a very hard bargain as we can't increase oil production until a gas deal is in place..

How do we get 96 production days for H1? Even discounting weekends and bank holidays, I'd expect there to be around 120 production days each half.
