I've been a big fan of BLOE and constantly vigilant for derampers throwing shade on us- However, on post did disturb me a little and if anyone could help explain, I'd be most happy-

Can't remember who posted but it said that UOG are producing 1700 barrels a day, we are producing far less but our market cap is very similar. Can anyone explain how this is? I'd have thought they'd have been worth four times as much- or worryingly BLOE four times less.

I don't much like the look of Mosman Lenny-

The eco lobby, currently going from strength to strength are particularly averse to shale/fracking. Plus it costs a fortune to retrieve from the ground in Texas because of higher operating costs than in somewhere where oilmen and everyone else in the supply chain from are paid far less. This also means that because margins are so tight- if the price of US oil drops much below $50 a barrel, many such companies cease to become profitable and rigs end up getting mothballed.

You'd be better off investing in companies based in a developing country where cost are lower such as Georgia.- all needs weighing up- obviously Putin will never order the invasion of Texas but if this is a side line punt you're not going to be risking your house and home.

Anyway, welcome to the board, oil & gas is a fascinating industry always pushing to take centre stage when it comes to world affairs-it really hits home how insignificant our little country is in the grand scheme of things.

Are we sure Miton completely out now? I've heard it said before, more than once , and it proved to be wishful thinking.

Brent has been rising slowly and steadily since early October. Not fluctuating wildly like earlier in the year. Another promising sign for us all, just wait until the Democrats get in power and completly shaft the US shale industy, hopefully a few wild fluctuations in the price of both oil and Brent with both settling considerabley higher.

Plenty to look forward to in the New Year. Those of us who Keep the Faith BLOE will end up a lot richer come Christmas 2020

Big respect for outing the Machevellian Tucker- I'd read The Prince but never realized the author had faked his own death. At first sight seems rather too sophisticated for Tucker, but there's plenty of angry paranoid people in the world who are actually very well educated and highly intelligent so guess it figures.

Amazing how a share message board is such a microcosm of the universe and abhors a vacuum. No sooner have the miserable Tucker and Mike31 gone elsewhere to spread gloom and others step into their shoes almost straight away.

I support Stoke and when we lose, I often amuse myself thinking of fellow supporters that I really dislike who will be far more disappointed than myself.

OneandOnly, a Putin backed invasion obviously always a possibility of any country where there exists a large Russian minority. (practically all of the former USSR) However, you must admit that it's a very impressive achievement never the less. They've beaten everywhere in Europe bar Denmark.

Georgia now 7th in World Bank Rankings for ease of doing business with across twelve different indicators. Just swapped places with the UK, we are now 8th.

BLOE is like investing in a racehorse from a great stable that has great potential, but just not firing on all cylinders just yet, but everyone involved know that it's only a matter of time.
