Natural gas prices have risen very nicely this past 3 weeks -hopefully we'll be in a position to monetize gas sometime shortly to take full advantage.

Henri1. I reckon the flaring permit being granted on such a long lease is a very positive sign (other than environmentally, but I cycle to work and don't own a car, so sleep easy on the Green front)

It shows the Georgian govt is prepared to be extremely flexible with us in order to allow us to keep pumping pending a gas contract with Bago and offtake infrastructure being in place.

Why would they not be keen to cut us some slack? We are aiding their economic development and they own some 7% of BLOE via GOG. How many other oilers are working with a. A government in a country ranked 10th in the world for ease if doing business in b. A government that has a real vested intresest in us producing as much oil and gas as possible.

VJAS. Just thinking based on Justin 's response I'm afraid. If we don't need to shut down the well before the licence expires, surely that can only be because we are no longer needing to flare gas. If we don't need to flare gas, we have the gas distribution sorted I would presume.

Whichever, this is good news indeed- for clear months to pump as much oil as safely obtainable without risking contamination or damaging the well- and to get our gas off take infrastructure sorted. -

Keep in mind that flaring gas outside testing is only allowed for 60 days. Thus as soon as a steady flow rate is published, the clock will start ticking. It would be very foolish to do so until the gas infrastructure and contracts are in place.-
