DJ- Sure most of us are underwater here but it is only a state of mind- I'm holding for a 5-10 bagger for my average at 12 , it will come, 2 maybe 3 years but it will come- Lock these shares
away and forget about them for a while- This board can be addictively negative/positive so we would probably all benefit from a little less time on here until the good news arrives.
I only wish I'd had some spare cash a few weeks back when Malcy was bigging up ECO at 125p saying still more to come, up another 3p today at 165p
He's a link to his blog for you Scamp the Dogger.
Not as shady as your dealings in Pattaya by all accounts Sticky Micky
BTW- are you and MIKESUM one and the same person? There is software that goes deep into a writers soul and from a few paragraphs can identify traits even if the person writing is deliberately changing style- it's almost like it can read your DNA
It obviously isn't infallible and if you chose to copy the style of say Shakespeare or Ernest Hemmingway, you've have it as 'confused' as you are!!!
Henri1. I reckon the flaring permit being granted on such a long lease is a very positive sign (other than environmentally, but I cycle to work and don't own a car, so sleep easy on the Green front)
It shows the Georgian govt is prepared to be extremely flexible with us in order to allow us to keep pumping pending a gas contract with Bago and offtake infrastructure being in place.
Why would they not be keen to cut us some slack? We are aiding their economic development and they own some 7% of BLOE via GOG. How many other oilers are working with a. A government in a country ranked 10th in the world for ease if doing business in b. A government that has a real vested intresest in us producing as much oil and gas as possible.
Could someone please confirm which West Rustavi wells are we planning on drilling in the foreseeable future I'm sure from previous postings I've seen 38, 30, 50 and 01 mentioned -AJW has just mentioned 03 as well- which with 16az would make a total of six all being well...or am I going senile-
Oil Man Jim is just about the most negative fella re BLOE on Twitter and ADVFN - other than obviously, MATD Micky. Difference is though, I believe he's from the oil industry and seems to know his stuff- so this spring of positivity from him is very encouraging- rather like the prodigal son, sinner's repenting etc.
VJAS. Just thinking based on Justin 's response I'm afraid. If we don't need to shut down the well before the licence expires, surely that can only be because we are no longer needing to flare gas. If we don't need to flare gas, we have the gas distribution sorted I would presume.
Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but it would make sense.
Yeah, I was thinking that myself. I'm hoping very much that they are playing a cagey game and having to do so with investors as well in regards to flaring.
We all know flaring is only permissible for 60 days once in production mode- so either
We are going to remain in test mode until December or plan to be out of test mode two months prior and the 60 days will kick in or some other arrangement has been made- which is possible as we are partners with the Georgian Govt don't forget (via GOG)
Whichever, this is good news indeed- for clear months to pump as much oil as safely obtainable without risking contamination or damaging the well- and to get our gas off take infrastructure sorted. -
Keep in mind that flaring gas outside testing is only allowed for 60 days. Thus as soon as a steady flow rate is published, the clock will start ticking. It would be very foolish to do so until the gas infrastructure and contracts are in place.-
Does anyone know Oil Man Jim? He's got a picture, supposedly of himself on Twitter with a pipe in his mouth and covered in oil to show he's in the business thus knows his onions. Just wondered if it's him or he's just trawled Google images for a cool looking dude off a film set- are they remaking Black Gold?
Mike- paper loss is an irrelevance, it isn't a loss until you cash in. I have no need of the money, I've got my BLOE shares tucked away and will keep adding each payday. Why? because I'm 100% certain that they will be worth far more in two years time than they are today.
I'm from Stoke Mike. We were bought up to be hard, I really can't get inside the head of someone who is that upset that they would take a copy of Hillybilly's posts (which weren't even offensive) and threaten to tell tales to the man. Where are you from Mike- Tonbridge Wells, Sevenoaks maybe?
Be a big boy Mike, soak up the bantz- you certainly like to dish it out. Life isn't like one of those one-way mirrors I hear they have in houses of ill-repute in Thailand.
By the way 'Unacceptable' is a dreadful, weasel word. Much as I detest Jacob and most of what he stands for, I can't help agreeing with him in this case.
Mike31- How are your shares in MATD doing? You aren't going to be able to buy your dream flat in Thailand with the profits any time soon are you?
Haven't MATD hit some difficulties in a licensing dispute between the Mongolian national govt, provincial govt and local council? You should invest somewhere safer like Georgia. BLOE at 8p is great value- stop being greedy and trying to deramp for cheaper entry.
PH is going to make the patient amongst us very rich because I'm holding for the next couple of years- Marvelous interview, shame he felt the need to do it just because the fearful and insecure are terrified of showing a short term paper loss-
I heard Bach's composition earlier-' Sheep may safely graze ' It so make me think of so many of jittery, insecure and downright angry individuals type who darken this board with their unending negativity and fear.
The bottle merchants all know who they are- try investing in a Santander 123 current account and safely graze on 1.5% pa like the nervous sheep that you are.
Exmex- Re Gas off take 10 MCF/d of gas is only something like $30 a day as it is priced per 1000 cubit feet. Do you mean MMCF/d i.e. a million cubit feet a day/- that would be more like it a $3,000 a day which is well worth having.
