Cheers wbf, Blissful- as he's moved to Vox Markets, I can't see why Sharetalk keep sending out BBH links a month old, don't expect that type of public sector inefficiency..
Sure he'll be giving us a shout out at this week if we keep the momentum up...and a shout out from Zak never does us any harm.
Find me, sure I was Zak, he definitely had 30p in his sights once we breached 18p and thought he said by end of June
In the subject of Zak and Bulletin Board Heroes, my daily Sharetalk emails have no.ipdate from Zak's BBH since 2 May. If it just my settings or is everyone else getting the same?
MK, seemed poignant with it being Ireland and having taken wine..but agree, point taken....
Let's not forget it isn't just Irish Greens or eco minded private investors we need to consider. As the company gets bigger and attracts the attention of fund managers, ESG is playing a bigger part as each day passes when deciding where to invest.
Surely something relating to helping the energy industry reduce its carbon footprint would be better than reminding the world of our core business.
After all that is what we are doing, in Ireland we are helping reduce their reliance on UK gas imports which is 'comingled' with US fracked LNG. In Morocco, they are desperate to move on from coal and oil fired power stations. Unlike the Irish, though, they are pragmatic enough to acknowledge conversion to gas is a good thing short/medium term whilst they build towards renewables over the next couple of decades.
Cheers Lochnez, Muckle. I thought they were a US company but that was a subsidiary.
See below, a serious international player indeed; based in Aberdeen but operating sixty different countries, seem to be getting very big into renewable energy. PRD is moving in the right circles with some big players.
With 40,000 professionals, across 60 countries, we are one of the world's leading consulting and engineering companies operating across Energy and the Built Environment.

Our business | Wood
So is Oman and there used to be an Omanni empire. There are no current empires so Wacky's reference must be either figurative or historical. Plan to build the world's biggest green ammonia/ green hydrogen plant.
A company involved is Wood McKenzie, I wondered if this was part of the same Wood Group, into blue ammonia that have formed the Massy Wood partnership in T & T.
It would appear not, Mackenzie Wood are a UK firm, Wood Group are US, unless I'm missing something. It seemed a coincidence, both Wood, both dealing in international trading/transporting ammonia.
I got that wrong, the UAE are in effect principalities, not kingdoms. An emir is, roughly translated, the Arab equivalent of a prince, not a king.
A few weeks back, The Wackmeister reposted a cryptic brain teaser (see below) as to where he thought/hoped our fortunes might be heading. I wouldn't have made a connection but we've both mused about blue ammonia, hydrogen and the significance of our relationship with Massy in the past..The UAE are most certainly Kingdoms in the Desert..and the plan involves construction???

This could be interesting, I saw an advert in a T & T journal a few weeks back where Massy referred to themselves as Massy Wood. Same line of business so looks like it well could be....can't delve as just off out but fingers crossed.

Ok cheers MEM, all the better. I'd only been thinking of either using it for EOR or storing it out of harm's way. CCS without the Utilisation.
I swear Blissful, other than serial derampers you are probably the most negative person to post on here regularly...Always that little bit of doubt creeping in, rather like Clueless Tim.
I thought you were a maestro deramper at one point but no, just a man far from blissful who's glass is always half empty.
See below- fingers crossed Sleepy Joe sticks to his guns and continues to insist on the US becoming a centre for processing rees rather than mining them. Common sense would dictate that they should do both but politicians have audiences to play to so hopefully not.

No need to remind us all that we've got a big drill coming up Morocco Blissful. What's great about PRD is we aren't just a one trick pony. Most of us aren't sat here counting days down to spud like a convict banged up in Belmarsh because we have other strings to our bow.. Some of us are in here because it is exciting, world beating and our small company is moving amongst some pretty big players in a highly political environment. Otherwise we may as well be in 88e or PANR with drill results all or nothing.
We have CCS eor in T & T, frsu projects in Ireland and Morocco. Plus 50% licences for Rams Head and Corrib South in a country where their energy infrastructure is teetering on collapse whilst tjeir politicians fiddle while Rome burns..
Plus hints as to other tricks up Paul's sleeves..who knows, we have access to ammonia, Morocco needss ammonia for fertilizers, Morocco wants hydrogen, Morocco wants LNG..so.many options and potential.pies to stick fingers in..
Also eye catching was data centres projected to be using one third of Ireland's electricity by 2028. I've seen many eyebrow raising percentages and 'by dates' bandied about but this is the starkest warning I've seen. Coming from a top industry professional as well...not a politician, journalist or anyone else who have their own agenda..

Cracking 2D. Just what we need, relentless, commonsense pressure from the people involved in keeping Ireland's energy infrastructure up and running.
Didn't understand the paragraph below- maybe the reporter got his wires crossed,a. why wait until 2030 for CCS. b. CSS to generate energy?? Unless I'm missing something obvious,
Back-up generation is currently being provided by gas, with hydrogen or Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) being considered from 2030 onwards, according to Mr. Lynott.
Ok, thanks Matt/Makingdough- Someone on the PRD board said that EOR was recently made compulsory for all onshore wells in T & T so if true, may no.longer just be a 'nice to have'.
Exciting times for both companies in T & T. Energy conference coming up 7th June and conference for Society of Petroleum Engineers on the 28th June. The latter has TXP and Heritage in attendance, but more interestingly, a session on CCS EOR with Sinopec attending.
Sure the fortunes of both our companies will be entwined to some degree, it's not a huge country and they are desperate to turn a neglected, mismanaged but hugely lucrative o & g and petrochemical industries around.
There is another conference in June in T & T for the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Touchstone and Heritage attending.
I remembered a few of us discussed a month or so ago and thought it looked particular interesting as the CCS EOR session am Tues 29th is being attended by Sinopec. Presuming Heritage will take the limelight but still pretty cool, our product will be discussed with a serious world player.

Good stuff Lancy. I saw that same article yesterday whilst reading up on the late Energy Minister, Franklin Khan. I'm thinking that the new chap, Stuart Young could just be the new broom needed to turnaround the fortunes of their neglected oil, gas and petrochemical industries, with PRD in exactly the right place to help to manifest the dream..
Franklin looked to be more a politician's choice of minister rather than an industrialist's or evonomist's. His day job was chairman of the ruling party, and he looks as if he was a great political survivor who got the gig by virtue of being a geologist as well as a slippery fish..
Morning All- Quick question if I may. I'm in PRD, also in T & T but we are providing Carbon Capture Sequestration, Enhanced Oil Recovery rather than drilling.
Just wondered if EOR was mentioned in last night's presentation? PRD have entered into an agreement with a major onshore o & g company but name still to be released. Thinking BPC/CEG not major enough so maybe yourselves or TRIN.
Cheers Nico
