I think the best scenario with poo for those of us not in US shale would be $40 WTI and $45 for Brent for the next six months. High enough to keep Wall Street indices happy and the rest of the world surfing in their wake. Low enough for 80% of US shale drillers to be unable to make a profit and hopefully get knocked out of business.

All the better for us who are invested elsewhere in.the world or conventional oil and gas extraction in the US. Realise shouldn't cross ramp but bought into DGOC precisely because I think shale fracking is a dying industry and the Democrats will go for the frackers before conventional Oilers.

Compared to many countries where small cap OG firms are drilling, Argentina is a very safe haven. Went there last December, certainly a safer bet than drilling in Nigeria, Monogolia, Guinea Bissau, Gabon, Angola, Peru need I list more...

Malcy's not great on TV but then neither are many industrial or financial experts. He certainly knows the oil industry extremely well and is widely respected. I'd rather take my advice from him than someone who's slim, handsome, great on tv but knows more about gardening than oil, say Phillp Scofield.
