Just as an aside I'm in Trinity and we've just cashed on $19m of T&T Govt VAT bonds for face value. It's actually comforting to know that you are dealing with a govt that respects the companies helping them to develop their O&G indusrty and works well with them and doesn"t try to do them over. I'm also in GENL and one is never quite sure if the Kurds or Iraqi govts might try some slight of hand when.it comes to get paid for our oil.

Bit of advice if I may. I'm way to heavy in RRE and want to rebalance my portfolio and thinking of increasing my holdings in either SQZ or GENL. Both look attractive but I'm a little concerned about GENL in Iraq. It l can it kick off over there at the drop of a hat, and the Turks are constantly issing dark threats to the Kurds. I also find it a bit concerning that GENL seem to get excited and shout to the world that they've been paid for their oil, surely that shouldn't need to be crowded about, it should be a given.

If anyone else is in both, and if they had spare cash, which of the 2 would they go for?

Same as me Dave, I'm like a crack addict with PRD, thought I'd stop when I'd had a million a few weeks back but I'm now up to 1.5 million. I just can't stop getting excited and for me today's appointments are the icing on the cake. I'm in Block Energy and over 20k down, a large chunk.of this due to a miscalculation and more importantly, very poor PR after the event so hearing of Flagstaff today was music to.my ears. As Malcy keeps saying, we are green leaders in O&G and in today's market that counts mightily in our favour,. It's case of getting the wider public to take notice and not just oil anoraks and investors reading Malcy's or Doc Holidy's blogs, a d that is where Flagstaff will come in.

Welcome on board Flagstaff. Most of us here are firmly convinced that PRD is going to fly. However, sure we've all been invested in fundamentally decent companies in the past that suffered because of very poor PR and mediocre personnel at the top. For me both Flagstaff's and the new appointment with such great experience are very welcome indeed.

Welcome f1, this is a share for a slow and steady rise, it will come, the fundamentals are cracking and as someone suggested earlier , the high price puts off multi bagger hopeful speculators, plus of course, most days a wide and volatile spread. One therefore for serious med/long term investors with patience and no real need to cash in anytime soon.

What is to say the Green hardliners argue to kick anything to do with O &G into touch. They will be perfectly aware non fracked gas is far better than fracked, but for them, it's all very bad stuff indeed, the Devil's flatulence so to speak. Rather like having to choose between Jimmy Saville or Gary Glitter as a childmindinder.

I'm in Block Energy for over a year and there was a never ending circus of publicity from our handsome and charming CEO with Malcy, Doc Holiday etc. He was constantly popping up and fizzing with enthusiasm. A lot of us got carried along in the excitement including some large institutional investors who should have known better. In fact there was only one well producing any volume and water ingress meant it had to be shut in, and still is. I'd been out of dealing for 20 years due to family and it taught me a very good lesson, substance will always win over style.

PRD is the real deal, we all have a chance to change our futures for the better if only just one of our three plays is a success.

I think with all that is going on, our management are no mugs and are beavering away under the radar deliberately. Our day will come patience, flashy promos only work to attract attention for short term gain merchants. Slowly but surely, our results will soon start to speak for themselves.

Have to say, this really would be a tricky share to deal in short term, which is a good thing really, more attractive for investors holding for gold rather than taking the silver at each available opportunity.

We are in the right place at the right time, particularly with the Irish not wanting to be dependent on energy from the UK , and with them going far easier on the eco front on gas than oil.
