MEM, are you in BLOE or were you just looking for CO2 EOR opportunities? Old, crumbling, badly drilled Soviet era wells would seem absolutely ripe for exploitation I reckon.

If you are in Bloe, what do you reckon upside this time next year? I've averaged down but still need 6p to claw back the £20k I'm still at a paper loss with.

Off topic, I realise so apologies to fellow PRD holders but can't be asking this question of a fellow Bloe holder on the Bloe board as will get either venom and bile or pie in the sky over optimism.

So if I'm reading this correctly then, by changing the viscosity of the oil underground CO2 EOR will be of use for all aged oil wells as a way of draining the dregs once the oil can no longer be extracted using conventional methods.

That would seem to apply to all wells irrespective of how much natural gas is underground.

CO2 EOR is another way of repressuristing an existing Oil well without NG, litle point of injecting CO2 into a gas field.
As we have water, reinject it, if required.
The cut water from the storage site is already being injected into a 1980s depleted oil field.

Dear all. See below a reply on tbe Block Energy board to a query by MEM asking if EOR may be any use for wells owned by BLOE in Georgia.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case and C02 EOR only applies to oil wells with no natural gas? I ask because I had thought it could be used to get gas out of the ground as well as oil.

I think so VIJAS. Water ingress at 16az and not fessing up about it being shut in is the main cause of our price collapse. Hopefully the gas sales when they finally happen should be worth more than the oil .We've got the Georgian govt desperate for energy independence from Russia and that is something the US are very keen on, hence their sanctions against Nordstream. US and EU treating the country as if it is a honorary economically developed nation, welfare in the right country at the right time.

Covid lockdowns will hopefully soon be a thing of tbe past and oil will hopefully keep rising as the world regains its sanity and learns to.live with it.

Great lead article in Oilprice.com this morning (sorry, my fat fingers can paste link) regarding the ESG Environment, Sustainability, Governance and all the world's biggest players, Amazon, BlackRock, Google are all jumping on board to dput pressure on Wall Street for ethical investments.

I've still yet to hear of a more environmentally friendly oil producer. An oxymoron many would say but the world still needs petrol and gas...

We are certainly in the right O & G company at the right time....Malcy has referred to us more than once as the Greta company and long may he keep doing so hopefully...

Great news OMV and Fronterra. Shows the Georgian government is prepared to be reasonable and that this is a great country to do business in. Good to see a small nation behaving in a pragmatic manner, not acting as if they hold all the aces and keeping tbe US happy. I like it, makes a nice change from the bloody-minded macho bravado that does nothing to help oil the wheels of global commerce and industry...

PRD looking better Munch. Were you in RRE? If so reckon LBE and PRD are both equally good bets to stash your winnings. I went a bit larger with LBE simply because the BOD has a proven track record of delivery but whereas RRE was only ever looking at a 2 or 3 bagger for me, LBE and PRD could both be true multis.

1% of our company changed hands today, over 80% buys. Let's hope they are now in the hands of investors who aren't going to be short of cash in the coming month and can see this could be a multi bagger and not a quick 30-50% win. The board own some 50% I believe. my daughters and I own nearly 1% so there's a majority in very safe hands.

Malcy is the Don as far as I'm concerned Chesh. I had an extra £25k to invest in PRD as a result of him singing the praises of RRE. As you see, he is also lavish with praise for PRD. Not so with your current bedfellow BPC who have yet to produce a drop of oil. Come on board...

Sure Malcy will have something to say very shortly on the subject, and he has scant regard for BPC who are greatly overvalued as they have not yet produced a single barrel of oil. I doubt Oilman Jim has much time for BPC either, and whatever you think about the teo of them, a lot of people in O & G shares read their blogs and some of us take on board what they say on occasions.

Certainly glad I did with Malcy re Rockrose and sure his other fave PRD will be more than a 2 bagger for me and the test of us invsted here. Come on board Chesh and join.our merry( and soon to be very rich) throng.

For the first time since wr16z was shut in due to water ingress, things are finally looking custy.

So, if Schlum are paying the Georgian government in oil worth $3.5 million, do we know how much they are producing, presumably an awful lot more. They surely aren't in business to give the majority of profit away as royalties or licence fees are they?

For me, the most significant sentebce in the article was the sentence about 'rendering Ireland more dependent on the UK.' Oilprice don't seem to have picked up that this is now a matter of great significance because we are no longer a member of the EU.

Agree Blissful, let's face it a large number of PIs seem to forget that companies the are invested in have IIs, employees, governments, local councils etc to keep sweet and of course deliver a service/produce a saleable asset etc. It's quite endearing that they even bothered introducing themselves. They do something helpful like post a link.to positive mentions of PRD on Sharetalk, Malcy"s blog or Doc's latest Tweets and get grief. I'd not have bothered, where money is concerned, human beings can be a pretty curmudgeonly bunch.

Indeed Aligator, not sure about Falcon but that it what Predator ( PRD) are doing in Trinadad & Tobago for EOR ( enhanced oil recovery) Sure the same technology is applied to gas. Not only does it mean less drilling as far more oil_gas can be recovered from existing wells, it is a great way to recycle CO2 so companies in the O & G industry can show that they are taking environmental matters seriously.

Anyone any idea as to reason behind today's rise? Seems to have moved more than Bloe benefitting from Zak Mir's postive calculus calculations.

Back showing again, more sold now than bought but price still moving up. Surely something afoot, can't all be punters following the herd FOMO?
