Blackdog, been watching waiting Brent last week.or so as it kept dipping its toe into the $49s. Up a dollar to $50.75 this afternoon...

We get paid WTI for T & T but that's good news for us as for years it was at a hefty discount to Brent. It's been only $3 or so below for the past 6 months so all good.

Gas prices down but apparently it is more expensive in Morocco than most other places, so again, all good.

All we need now, in my Machiavelluan mind is a really foul nasty Brexit. I'd like the Irish to sever their dependence on that annoying gas pipe line from Scotland asap. Unfortunately we are in for a mild winter so the harsh reality of their predicament may not just hit home yet but still, the weather forecasters have got it wrong before and will do so again.

Afternoon Wacky, I like what you're saying that makes sense. We aren't necessarily part of the SpotOn Barryroe consortium but we are on hand to provide goods and services.

This works for me from two angles.
a. The Irish government is in a pickle and your suggested solution allows the pumping of very needed gas into their network with a minimal of fuss and without the need for an onshore gas terminal.

b. We haven't gone it totally alone in any other project, we've made use of business partnerships to save costs, share risks and utilise equipment and existing infrastructure. Why would Irelanx LNG be different?

Good news on.the green front that no CO2 has escaped, shows we are taking seriously and monitoring 6 months down the line and not just ticking a box.

Does anyone know by the way, what happens with the CO2 in the ground, does it stay there forever harmlessly, like dust under a carpet or is there potential for things to go wrong? I ask because I have a young vegan daughter and when I was selling her the concept of PRD being a green investment, it was the first thing she asked. As for wind farms, the very mention gets me excited, permanent magnets used in the turbines need Neodymium and Praseodymium and RBW Rainbow Rare Earth have shed loads which the Chinese seem hellbent on restricting the market and increasing the price....

Yeah, saw about Denmark Tesla, managed to out Green the Irish but the Danes have always been uber progressive, healthy and wholesome so I suppose if anywhere would be first it would be them.

However...the Danes aren't reliant on former colonial master for their energy supply. Following Brexit, maybe read belligerent former...I know nothing about Denmark's energy and was surprised to see they were the EUs biggest o & g producer, I thought that was Norway. However, I'll wager they have plans for renewables well underway with wind farms galore whilst swathes of rural Ireland are still relying on kerosene.

Getting a little tired if XR claiming capitalism is the root of all eco evil. They have been very quick to forget that the most filthy polluting factories on this planet have since WW2 were mainly in Socialist China , USSR and eastern europe. Plus India wasn't far behind. Although a democracy they ran a centralised, inefficient socialist economy more similar to the communist model than the West. Even down to screwing up agriculture and citizens starving to death in regular famines just like the USSR and Mao's China.

It's a law as well we are the bod were well aware. Conserving a precious natural resource and not unnecessarily add to global warming so a very good law as far as I'm concerned. The Permian is alight every night as the world's previous gas reserves are flared off . Why? because it more effort than it's worth to capture and sell it and the Texan politicians don't seem to care. At least the Georgian government are doing something about preventing the same.

I'm not usually sitting staring and getting excited but can't remember last time there was a movement up of 0.3p or more. If today's trades are to be believed it's irrelevant anyway as sells being recorded at 3.55p. -but somehow I reckon they are buys..
