5p by April would be good for morale Zebra but I'm honestly not desperate to see a huge rise just yet. I think it's the game plan to beaver away under the radar, work with the relevant ministries and business partners without fanfare.

What I liked about the T & T Energy article was that we were doing a serious appraisal as from which wells across Trinity-Iniss we could get optimal flow increase from. This is a confident company, careful with cash and not short either. If we were desperate for cash, there would have been a flurry of nearest and easiest wells hit to get as much ready cash flowing as possible in the short term.

I usually find acronyms morphing for political reason annoying e.g the 's' environment, sustainability, governance becoming social in order to wag a finger at governments that don't quite follow our western model. However CCS becoming CCUS with utilisation added plays right up our street and distinguishes between merely brushing the stuff under the carpet and making good use- in our case less drilling required in the Caribbean (BPC-Chesh take note) as existing infrastructure is utilized and maybe keeps things ticking over until the world can go fully renewable.

For a micro cap company we are really in a fantastic position standing on the cusp of environmental historic change. Hopefully 2020 will be remembered as a year the world took stock of the environment and decided to mend its ways, rather than just covid.

Good evening Pommefritte, I'm always thinking laterally. Until today, I was unaware that Adonis Pouroulis is acting CEO at Chariot Energy, focused in Morocco. He took over recently, the previous incumbent was a bit of a cheesy muppet and CHAR shares have been on fire since Adonis took.over.

In order to be making such strides, he is working closely with the Moroccan ministry for mines, energy and the environment. From what I read, if you are dealing with any ministry in Africa, this is one of the best, most others in other countries being riven with corruption and inefficiency. He will no doubt be aware that Morocco produces more phosphate than elsewhere and the right sort of gypsum stacks could make him and ourselves very rich.

Ok, thanks very much Sussex engineer. If I'm reading correctly It seems like gypsum stacks created as a result of phosphate production would be worth checking out. If our mine in South Africa has processed the minerals in a manner that makes the gypsum stacks highly valuable, then surely other mines may have used the same process?

Apart from.the real hard eco greenies, most governments and politicians have accepted that gas is needed as the transition fuel from coal and oil until renewables take over completely.

Coal is The Great Satan, fracked oil and gas will soon be joining as untouchables, then conventionally produced oil and finally conventionally produced gas. Reckon we've got a decade or two..

I saw article below a few days ago and never got around to posting. 70% of world's phosphate in Morocco which according to several Africa commentators is one of the very few places in Africa where you can trust your business partners.
Does anyone know if phosphate mines result in gypsum stacks as in South Africa or does it depend on the processes used by individual mines?

Agree Whopper, I think it will be the wind turbines that will be the making if us. Boris, for his myriad faults seems to care about the environment. The Danes and Irish are going against fossil fuels in a big way, didn't realise Denmark is the EU's biggest gas producer so happy days. Just hope Biden keeps to his promises but methinks he's not quite the eco radical that he made himself to be.

An interesting question Zebra, don't have the answer but if no one provides it, I may well do some research. For all of us in o & g, as oil becomes as unpopular as coal, and gas tolerated as a necessary evil for transition fuel, it would be good to know.

You certainly can't extract oil without gas, I know that much from eco concerns about wasting gas by flaring but then oil is heavier than gas so that would follow.

A few weeks ago I made a commitment to my daughter to pay for a second Masters if any one of four penny shares I have hit 10p. Offered my nephew a couple of grand as an afterthought and RBW went from under 4p to hit 12p. Cost me £11k but nearly £30 k up so c'est la vie.

I've just made a fresh set of pledges to both my daughters and nephew including £2k a piece if RBW hits 20p. I think it will within a year.

Sorry to bore about my domestics but all such spiritual affirmations work best when commitments laid out in writing, and as a pledge made in public, seems more real.

Back to Morocco. The country is thinking very big , attached article may be of interest. They are planning to become a huge producer of green hydrogen and export it to Europe. However, in order to produce green hydrogen you need a massive renewable energy infrastructure. Now they certainly have plenty of sun and wind but this will take years to set up. In the meantime they could always use our gas to produce blue hydrogen to sell to Europe, maybe as far away as Ireland.

Do we want Barryroe approving or not, what do you think is in our best interests? Obviously would mean a great chance for Ram's Head and Corrib South also being approved, but will mean big competition on the manor.

Wacky, hoping the market soon wakes up to so many little snippets linking up together , with PRD at the centre of the maze..With each new snippet I'm more and more convinced that we aren't being overly glass half full.

Someone, maybe yourself posted something recently about Paul dabbling in wind turbines. I replied at the time cynically thinking any linking PRD with green is good news. It looks as if it could well be something bigger than window dressing to keep the eco warriors happy.

The hydrogen angle is interesting as well, natural gas is used to make blue hydrogen when green hydrogen not an option. However, blue ammonia is also used to make blue hydrogen and it comes in a ready supply from fertilizers plants. See attached, twice the density of liquid hydrogen so presumably a lot cheaper to ship around.

You've both hit the nail on the head, these wells could do with flowing more profitably without spending fortunes on work overs. Enhanced Oil Recovery using Carbon Capture and Sequestration is the answer.

Just been reading, King & Spalding are a US based company with subsidiaries in US, England and Singapore. Doesn't sound like they are the European entity Paul was referring to.

However as they have their fingers in half the world's LNG proect pies, they'd certainly be a class act to be working with along with the mystery European entity we are soon going to be teaming up with.

If we use Predator's PRD carbon capture and sequestration enhanced oil recovery technology we'll get a lot more oil out of the ground than if we let it flow naturally. Just the job for bringing old wells back into service.

If Jon Fitzgerald every reads this board, he may well take note. He will be aware of PRD and their CCS EOR because he brokered the merger of BPC and CERP.

PRD had a partnership with CERP and FRAM in Trinidad where CCS EOR is being used to get old wells flowing again. As long as there is a fertiliser plant nearby to supply the CO2 and there is one in West Rustavi, easy peasy.

Ok, thanks for the info Zebra, that's very good news. I knew Morocco is considered to be a great place to be selling gas when gas prices are the doldrums but I'd never delved as to why.

Hoping Brent and WTI stay around $50 next year, we're way above some if the more pessimistic estimates. If the world's economies get moving again with vaxxing, we should all be laughing in 2021.

AJW, have the board recently confirmed that we are still on track for first gas by end of H2? Realise nothing been seen to the contrary and hence still the target but wondered if there had been any reassurance.
