Good morning GRH. From what I can find, the Maghreb Europe Gaspipeline is owned by Sonatach, an Algerian company in partnership with the Kingdom of Morocco. However, there is an article from 2018 stating that Morocco is to be taking full control. Not sure if that was wishful thinking from someone because from.what I can see, it remains under Algerian ownership. (Unless Wikipedia and several other sites have got it wrong)

If I recall correctly, Techmet and RBW were exploring downstream processing options before the announcement of the Bloveld acquisition. That is good news because either

.a. Techmet were kept appraised which suggests a close working relationship

b. The Burundi.opetation may be suitable for a downstream processing facility.

c. Even better-Both of the above

A quick question if I may. The Magreb-Euro gas pipeline runs from Algeria to Spain through Morocco and under the Straits of Gibraltar so Algeria can export gas to Portugal and Spain. That makes sense as it is the shortest distance between Africa and Europe.

What doesn't make sense is that Morocco buys most of it's gas from Spain. Why do they buy Algerian gas that has been pumped into Spain via Morocco rather than buying it straight from Algeria? It then has to be pumped back under the Straits back to where it has earlier passed through.

It seems very strange, but it's a multi million dollar industry so I'm sure there is a rational explanation.

Good thing is, price has almost doubled since I averaged down and I'm now getting interested, and may I say rather excited. Must be a fair few of us had never dreamed of recouping our investment but fingers crossed, everything is moving in the right direction...

All those EV motors will be need Neodymium and Praseodymium. This is of course addition to De PJ's promise of wind farms the size of Wales in the North Sea.

Ok thanks Hepseal, figures coming from.the horse's mouth are the ones we need to go by then. Maybe they downplayed by 25% to build in a comfort blanket in case of any snagging problems. These are newly refurbished wells and that would be very wise. I think lessons have been learnt regarding publishing about best case scenarios.

Nice on Tiger, the more PRD shares in the hands of true believers the better. May your top up be substantial. Just think of PRD as a minimum 4 bagger, that's what I do when deciding whether to stretch myself and stick on maybe 10-20% % more than I'd originally planned to.invest.

Hepeal , if we are producing 1mmcf from wr38 at $5.24, then that equates to $5.24k daily doesn't it.? The gas from wr16 will take that up to $6 daily = $42k weekly = $2million annually.

Anyway, which ever of us is right it's between $1.44 m and $2m pa, so a nice little earner indeed.

So AJW, presuming gas flows 7 days a week, we should be getting paid some $6k daily = $42k weekly. Is that correct or am I missing something? That works out at over $2 million p.a. for the gas from those wells alone.

He has been vainly trying to publicise some quite newsworthy green initiatives of late, but it has all been getting lost amongst mountains of bad news, Brexit deals, covid, unemployment lockdown, infighting in his inner cabal etc.

I was very impressed to see the UK is the first nation to enshrine CO2 reduction in law, though admittedly that was Theresa May's doing rather than his.

Certainly Kristos would be a very company to hook up and do business with..I've put all of my Rockrose profits in LBE. I'm a fair bit down at the moment but only on paper and it's free money I'm investing/gambling with so a nomlosecsituation really. Happy to sit and wait, hopefully another share will come good to allow me to invest in Kristos because not willng to sell any of my portfolio as things stand.

Ok, cheers for the clarification AJW, I try to read all of our RNS's but that was one of those rather too technical for my level of understanding. Unless it specifically stated 'we don't use fracking /hydraulic refracturing' I"d be none the wiser.

All good then, when EU countries start baning imported fracked LNG, there will be a gap in the market. Not suggesting we run before we can walk, let's get our gas into Georgian homes and factories first. However, selling outside of Georgia is definitely an option medium to long term.

Great news RedRoy, that's along the lines of what I was hoping. Although ThyssenKrupp take the concentrate of our hands and we aren't sending the product to China for processing, we'd be able to negotiate a better price for carbonate as it would require less processing.

So it looks like carbonate will still need sending to China for processing in the short term. However, in medium-long term, we could well be processing the carbonate side of our business within South Africa, maybe even onsite. Imagine the cost savings for TyssenKrupp as opposed to sending tons of concentrate to China.

I see happy times ahead for myself and fellow RBW investors..

Quick question. The UK imports a lot of non fracked LNG from the Middle East (the Near East for us pedants) but does anyone know if we import much, if any fracked LNG?

I ask because Ireland look certain to ban fracked LNG and I'm thinking the UK may not be far behind. Boris's current girlfriend, Carrie, (not Olga the violinist) is extremely environmentally conscious and as Dominic's leaving has shown, is more influential than many of us would have given her credit for.

Ireland invested fortune in a gas terminal at Shannon to import US fracked LNG, guess what, importation of fracked LNG to Ireland is going to.be banned any day now.

I'm very aware of this because I'm in PRD and we are hoping to sell them non fracked LNG. Now all fossil fuel is bad news as far as the Irish Greens are concerned, but their more sensible heads are saying that gas is needed as a transition fuel so let's make sure it isn't fracked.

Anyway. that's very good news for me. If fracked LNG is banned in the UK then PRD will be on hand supply Milford Haven with non fracked LNG from our floating regasification units in the Celtic Sea.
