It peaked £5.50 nearly a year ago... since then its been bobbing around with a 520p high on january but since then its been on a gradual fall then Iran finished it off ! been a few times this year you could have picked these up cheaper than today

I bought at 340p and sold 443... not bound by greed as was already a fair chunk ! not that interested in airlines but thought it looked cheap as a recovery stock, in my eyes it recovered due to speculation but now its just a gamble, would have prefered a slow recovery as geopolitical problems ceased rather than crash and burn but GLA if it comes off

Lots of pain if this doesnt go to plan..imho

This looks like win win... buy in now for possible takeover or stay in for recovery taking advantage of overdone dips, as or if they present themselves

I only had a cpl of tho bought at 340p... I think I will stay long till all this is over, a nice little punt so far, might as well stay for the trip

Your dividend yield is based on the price you paid for the shares, the current yield only applies to shares purchased at the current price. As with every share the yield is inversely proportional to the share price. If you bought cheap and have now sold due to the reasons you stated you have made a pretty stupid error.

LOL I was sitting on too much profit sold the lot and spread it out into easy jet 346p lng 261p mng 300p and Mony 170p... my easy jets are flying... fyo I have been trading phnx on the large daily trumpian swings and always beat the the dividend, we all have our own way and who would have thought that phnx would ever have gone from 770p down to 640p but it did and at some point it will retrace again...its the nature of the stock market beast

There goes the lovely dividend as this enters into an expensive share... was here in the cheap days when this was great value, now into the unknown realms of crash and burn territory, have taken my profits and run for the hills

Fuel refineries ramping up production in West Africa to replce the missing oil from the middle east the americas and Norway are also stepping up production, due to some other airlines cancelling certain routes due to high cost of fuel there also seems to be some spare fuel, its public concern that seems to be the driving force as they are scared of flight cancellations and losing their holiday, worries over refunds or being stranded all of which the airlines are not seeing any problems going forward, infact airlines expanding accross europe ramping up flights through the summer with lots of new routes
