Pathetic dividend... why would you buy this when the horse has already bolted and the dividend is so pathetic, I dont get it

Id be very happy with just under 500p....30% from here seems very attractive but im always a glass half full sort of thinker

Ill definately have some to sell if they get anywhere close to 300p, in the meantime it looks like picking these up again at a reasonable price is looking like a Turkey shoot....

Ive never been overly been concerned about the Dividends, Ive done better trading this than keeping It

I sold because over the last 4 years ive bought them back around the 230s as I did again this year, Ive made more money trading them than keeping them and maybe this year they wont fall and maybe they will , so far ive been correct and I enjoy doing it

The Dividend yield mathematically decreases as the share price rises assuming the dividend payment stays the same

This will get pushed down alot further than the actual Dividend .... always does, I managed it with Mony and got back in and the same with Phnx/sdlf both of which bounced back really quick so its a gamble really this time, LnG is pushing higher as good div stocks are getting a bit thin on the ground.

I dont need to sell this time as not as heavily weighted here as I have been due to the geo political sitiuations, will keep the Dividend and buy more if they take a turn for the worst, depends what they owe you as well, for me Im over 9% div as now nice and low average so makes sense for me to stay this time

Believe me its been quite difficult keeping my finger off the sell button as it keeps rising but ive considered the odds of it being able to push over 800p for what I think may be the first time and then get into a new range...I may even just stop playing with it as its been so reliable as a Dividend faithful, my average obviously has been lower but at just over 700p average now Ive had a good run at it, next week I could feel different LOL

This years drop could be negligible considering where the sp might end up come thursday... I think I will sit in and take the Divi for the first time in years and pick some more up if they fall as thanks to his Magasty my average is fairly low and im not heavily weighted here as I have been

Baught back in 700p.... been doing it since the 480s, I think I only had one time in the last 3 years I actually stayed in for a dividend and that was a top slice, but his Magasty came to the rescue yet again so it wasnt rocket science to have another go, up nearly 11% thankyou very much but this time I think I will hang around as Its looking at over 800p.... all very interesting

Negativity turns to optimism as the share prise rises amidst what is pretty much the same scenario as when the straights first closed... your going to be lucky soon if you got in around the current share price... Easy jet still flying and people still booking flights, the show goes on! its a case of good old buy up the big dips and go long IMHO
