If your looking for a crash this certainly doesn't look like one from where im sitting, the American markets have opened, business as usual , wake me up please when a real one happens

If you read my post im not saying its over today, there are loads of falls every other day, every week and all throughout the year, this isnt going to be a crash and obviously its going to fall as people panic behave the way they always have....it just sorts the wheat from the chaf, and history shows that stock markets rally once everyone has got used to a war! this one has always been on the cards for decades, the experienced will have positioned themselves accordingly, energy, gold/silver and defence

Obvously in situations like this , cash is a very poor strategy, I can understand if your waiting for a sort of calm but we all knew this was on the cards over the last couple of years, this isnt a pandemic its war and war has been a part of human existance throughout history, life will go on and adapt, if this goes on for a long time and everything starts to get more expensive your cash is losing its spending power

Turning out to be a great descending trading stock, waiting for the next lovely 10% drop , way better than the pathetic Dividend

Ive locked profits on all four, just small now on MnG / LnG for a few Divs and maybe possible growth, havent had any for the last 5 yrs as have traded them, seems I came out a bit better than the dividends through these uncertain times, just feel a bit easier with more out than in at the moment, obviously like a coiled rattle snake ready to strike when the ducks are in a row, but struggling all the same to read the market, it just doesn't make any sense

In a market full of overpriced shares I will sit here for a while longer

MnG will be the better play, 350p imminent

Ive done better trading and selling before ex than holding these, of course if they go to fair value and beyond Im fooked, just bought a couple of thousand just before 268p my lowest ever holding of these as Im just not used to these highs, will keep for the first time for a minimal div and average down and rebuy hopefully below 250p through the summer, ftse seems over bullish as far as I can see, maybe Rachel from accounts will be able to throw some cold water on it to cool things down

I did buy this at the last dip in November and traded at near 8%, didnt do so well this time as didnt take the money at 4% and got in slightly later over the 630s thinking was cheap, had a stop loss so evens, seems to have lower lows and less resilliant to market fluctuations, Ftse is very frothy so happy to sit this one out but hope im wrong for all, GLA

Still dont think this is bargain territory, 2000 legal and general shares at near 8% div still cheaper than 1000 aviva at 5.9%, and 25% rise since last year for aviva, not going to be great if it follows admiral that has fallen 25% in six months, still going to be painfull if the sht hits the fan, I think I would rather buy into Legal and general even if that fell to last years figure it would near match the dividend, the curve for this looks to going the wrong way

The shorts beg to differ as history will prove this cant sustain 300 for any length of time, it had its chance after the pandemic and famously failed as others where streamlining their products and gaining momentom, Id love to be wrong but definateley wont get carried away, my holdings in this are now minimal, just along for the ride now and for a bit of a trade

For the first time in a quite a few years my bike insurance renewal has been cheaper by the same company instead of me trawling through endless comparison sites to get quotes, if this keeps happening I will stay loyal rather than taking my business elseware, I never really got why insurance companies hyped policies in the hope that you couldnt be bothered to shop around and then only to lose customers who do have now tipped the scales due to costs of living, it beggars belief you would throw your loyal customers under the bus in order to scrape a few quid, I hope all insurance companies are taking notice

Absolutely , I find that to be the best method, it works for me along with the wet finger
