The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
'Fully funded until the end of the trial/year' they said
Less than 3 months later they raised funding again.
Also they said they wouldn't sell when they could get 10x more for their product. Yet the share price has dropped by over 100x so now they would have to sell for hundreds of times more than they could have done just for investors to get any money back.
Either George and co dont understand maths or they just dont care. I know the answer is clearly both.
I forget the exact quote but from about 2016 what was it George said? 'Pi's dont matter'
Thanks George. What business school did you graduate from again?
Been stuck here for years. Seen rampers come and go. The shares I own are now worth less than the commission fee to sell them, or close I cant even be bothered to check them any more.
I'd rather the company gets shut down at maximum loss to the bod than continue to fund these morons. No one with half a brain could run a company so badly to drive a share price down so far it's actually unbelievable.
Action group yes please shake them up do what you need to ruin their coffee morning g.
And can someone please ask whsts going on either their office in the US?
Is it literally a holiday home for the bod?aI want to see documented activities that they ste doing daily to drive value in this business.
A "meetingly" to discuss? Ohh the ironies!
The uranium assets going
this company is embarrassing to watch. those who were ramping at 15p. you must feel silly now. it was obvious from their product portflio or lack of that they would fail.
And at that point people were adamant and called people like me idiots for saying that the licence would not get renewed in Kuriskova, even when the decision was under appeal people thought it was nailed in and refused to hear otherwise. That was probably the worst investment decision FTE took, but of course that is all relative. As all of the other assets have zero value apparently it means that they were also terrible, so bad in fact that it might cost to dispose of them. Then we have the Darwin decision. Now why would you take funding from a company that shorted you just prior to this? In fact during this period the share price dropped by 90% and the share was diluted to such a huge extent that we now have billions of shares in play at 0.0028p. So can anyone tell me, how did mark get 43% share of the new company and after so many terrible decisions, what makes you think the next will be a good one?
Yes but thats writing the initial investment off and just buying another grands worth of shares. It didnt really impact the first buy, but you might be able to put 2 grand into something to be back where you started?
Even if it multibags, say 4x times, how do you average down £1000 @ 0.2p? Your initial investment would not be worth £12. Say it went up 4x times, thats £48 - leaving you with a hole of £952. thats basically enough to cover your initial buy, second buy to 'average down' and sell of one set of shares, leaving you £12 over? But anyway, how did MT gain 43% of the company, how much did he own prior to the RTO and how much did he put into the business to acquire this amount?
How is that wrong, how do you average down £1000 shares at 0.2p for example at the current price? how much would you have to pump in to be able to make a profit even if the SP doubled from its current position?
0.2 wasnt a high really. And its not averaging it down, its writing it off and starting again.
How did Michael Travia get 43% of the company? has he paid for that or is it a gift? Did he run the SP down to fractions of decimals in order to do this?
showing down between 11 and 7%?
have to ask the question - why take funding from Darwin and buy olympic domain if you have no plan to do anything with the resource? the plan decimated the SP and basically dilused the number of shares to such an extent that we are in the predicament we currently are. What activities were undertaken to assess the new asset once purchased? We need a time line of events and the sustance behind this strategy. Also regarding the book keeping on the other asset licences owned. Why would they cost money to dispose of them if they had a valuer of 10 million plus? Surely a buyer could be found if they were that lucrative even if the business took 10% of their book value it could have meant not taking from Darwin?
...non holders deramping for sure - I rest my case." Well they should have run the company better then to be fair. M'lud... and is asking about the prospects of the new portfolio so bad? Theys hould be shouting from the rooftops about them and their projected sales into the market. I hear the demand for Meetingly etc is going to be huge, i was just wondering if anyone here is using it yet?
Know that BOS needed a cheerleading squad? Their products and proposition should be able to speak for itself?
of shares, what do ou mean you wont be able to buy a bean? What do they have of substance? are they yet to release a new product portfolio or are they going to leverage their existing portfolio and expand their operations?
We are talking about the propsects of Bos and their portfolio. What do you expect them to come out with once the RTO is in place and do you use Meetingly, or do you know anyone who is planning to use it?
Hands up if your company uses Meetingly, or have a proposal in place to install Meetingly in the next 6 months? When people say FinTech, do they expect BosGLobal to become the next Wonga but B2B instead of B2C? Or will they continue to sell Meetingly?
Nothing to do with the SP, just people making comments about how blue the SP is... if you dont see any reasons for negativity you must have missed the fundamentals page and the SP graph!
But at the same time we had people saying that the licensing renewal was a formality, that darwin were good. that the company wasnt useless. That the Olmypic Domain was a great asset. So when a share has dropped by 99.2%~ and someone says that the SP is doing well by increasing by 10% i think it should be taken in the wider context that while it might have done, the SP has been in freefall for years.
