that's not how I read the 2018 accounts Alpha...or 2017 or 2016 etc.. and of course one off restructuring costs can be blamed for a lot in the 2018 year..and some previously too.. but this company has significantly struggled for years now.. as witnessed by peak revenue versus current..sure it may well be slowly addressing its issues but it's a brutal space where scale is massively important.. and without Ruyi I think the future looks bad for Bagir.. I witness the s/p chart to support my argument.. it's factorially appalling for reasons far far more than 'it's AIM' imho..

'probabilities' being the appropriate word I expect ..and there is of course at least a small chance this doesn't complete.. and if it doesn't the s/p will of course take a big hit.. but it moving to 2.2p and hopefully motoring on again in coming days in further anticipation is very good news in itself... and a bad case scenario of half of - for eg - 3p in anticipation would be a lot less of a bummer than half of - for eg - 2p in anticipation..

generally, for whatever it's worth, my instinct is now moving more and more towards this completing though....and if it does the 4p + your charts see will be a very welcome indeed (approaching two bagger for me indeed.. although my bet is only at 60% of its peak value from many months ago because of my concerns over this not completing.. I'll likely not add any more ahead of the news either )

The race for that drug to market has still plenty to run, clearly.. and includes further raises in due course, I expect...but the potential market is huge and so rewards could be great with success.. and so plenty will see this as a fair BET to make imho..

Obviously the company has a good stable of other drugs and delivery technologies too.

Generally, I'm interested in bringing my average price down further - now 7p ish - and so weakness such as 6's or 5's p would see me top up to a reasonable extent here.. I'd be surprised if it goes into 5'p in coming weeks though, but anything is of course possible.. (and to put my money where my mouth is I did a small top this morning in late 6's) …

I'm still hoping for 20p in coming few months.. but - unequivocally - good news required for that, of course eg good structured next clinical program for MDT201 announced ahead of q2 start.. and or CMS progressing things well in Asia etc..

Towards the latter: after some thought, I've today started a topping up process with my first buy here in a long while

(imho this is a solid and progressive - albeit slowly progressive - company and its financial fundamentals are now very strong.....and can readily strengthen further through solid and incrementally growing production... even at poo well lower than today...so I believe a low - even low ish - average and plenty of patience will be decently/well rewarded here in the future.. so my goal is now to get my average decently down from current approx.16p ( to sub 13p ideally) and so I will top up further again here in due course, and if more s/p weakness still to come my top up(s) will be bigger again... etc..

we really could do with that q1 update in a couple of weeks being a VERY good one imho.. average to good won't be enough in this market to re kindle a strong rally imho.. good to very good might well see some decent up movement though, granted..

generally, of course this looks cheap at 8p.. but many other oilers out there look - thereabouts - equally cheap too imho - sure some AIM O&Gers are doing well, as workover has kindly pointed out...and a few others on top of ones he mentioned are too, in fairness - but I still say it's generally BAD across the O&G AIM sector, on average.... especially against good PoO environment now ...and I say that while holding 20 plus names in the space... and they're not all bad stock picks, I promise :-)... eg I coined it back end 2016 and all 2017.. and have been playing the sector hard for 3 plus years now..

Ah, Trinity is another underperformer I should have mentioned previously. ( and now with balance sheet sorted etc and still going down .. ruff ruff indeed ) Good to see you doing well on oilers workover.. not so for me at this time , alas ..and I hold far too many of them too .. yet I Walk on with hope in my heart :-)

I've been holding here for 3 years plus workover and it was mostly a 'low' share price thru then and generally declining towards lower again too.. and so I averaged down, ...so at least a low average .. but it still wears on one, workover.. not least as the last year and a half has been clearly strongly progressive for PPC on the ground in Argentina and the s/p was generally going down through that.... here's hoping we are entering a new paradigm here.. we have had small/medium rallies in recent years before that have petered out, after all...

PS: Amerisur is undervalued based on nearly every O&G metric too.. and it has been a dog for years now.. It and PPC were two of my bigger hopes :-)

(is it Matd board I remember you from btw workover ?.... ironically I did great on - dodgy - 'explorers' - Matd, UKOG, Frr etc- and decided with PoO 'recovered' to go more solid producer with profits I took from selling out f this at highs and it has been mostly a let down on my producer bets so far.. SDX, ditto.. etc ( but I'm still thrilled to have taken my profits on matd, frr and Ukog.. given the collapse of those.. of course they may come back again.. UKO&G I have real hope for another bull run, at least. )

classic.. I've been selling down incrementally/slowly from 10p to 7p .. and now have just under a third of my peak position left.. and of course a decent rally seems to now be upon us.. the law of sod..

Personally, I'd rather the Trade deal is agreed in May than not.. in case for eg the Chinese authorities have, against the background of ongoing trade deal negotiations, sign off of SR/Bagr deal alongside sundry others on hold,, for eg

Of course, if tarrifs are racheted up from Friday as Donald tweeted, you could argue that this deal will be green lighted as a fight back mechanism for sure then .. and/or as negotiations have now stopped, it's back to sign off as per previously usual and so it's signed off... or sign off has nothing to do with the trade deal in the first place.. etc... :-)

who knows..

Generally, for the greater World Economy good, I'm hoping this 'The Donald' style sledgehammer play will help the Chinese focus on just agreeing what's been negotiated so far instead of maybe sliding/backtracking? somewhat at this late stage.

having ongoingly seen this as a trading share - and having stayed profitable thru the meltdown off the back of that view - I've continued to sell by increment into recent strength towards my 25p target.. and so alas I'm out of bullets and fully out now/for now.. so 50p coming soon no doubt ! :-) -and good for those who capitalise on that if it does as you need big wins to justify playing the brutal AIM game imho ! -

Climate change is definitely not a hoax imho.

And a more micro point if I may:

In terms of AIM oilers at least, it's small and selective inflows and that only very recently imho LC.. and versus the cumulative MASSIVE outflows from this AIM sector for years from approx. mid 2014, any recent net inflow are peanuts imho.

Sure you can pick out a few gainers more recently but is two years into a good PoO recovery now and on a five year view there are many many AIM oilers at very very low levels versus pre 2014/15 crash levels.... and I accept some of those have proven to be not strong/good co's but there are plenty of producers - not pure explorers as that's just hard core gambling - who have progressed themselves significantly - including balance sheets strengthening- in recent years and there have been nothing like the sustained II inflows one might expect to match imho : eg President, Trinity, SDX, Tullow, and - surprise, surprise - Amerisur for e.g.

(Generally, timing is of course huge on AIM and you may - or may not - be in the right place at the right time this time but longer term AIM oiler producers players have had a very bad run of it on average.. and if that's changing it's only very slowly, so far at least ..imho )

The biggest piece of advice I'd give CB is to get the 'ard rock terms/plan agreed quickly from here including getting that mining up and running asap thereafter

(He has taken his good time for perhaps good reason - decent financial contractual terms, appropriate operator commitments, alluvial play and clearing etc - but that time has now been taken and so just sign up and get the 'ard program started asap now. That's like a new beginning for xtr shareholders.. and it's the 'ard rock that most are involved here for in the first place, after all !)

luckily I betted small to begin with and so tactically averaging down though the awful journey so far brought me average well down.. and now hopefully genuine progress will at last be imminently upon us.. here's hoping !!

(obviously lots of dilution along the road so far is a factor in future price targets here.. 9p in comng months would be great for me and see me sell some/many, probably.. not least as my b/e is an a semi repectable 4.5p )

at a macro level, this 'project' is going very - very - slowly in the right direction imho.. and on the laws of averages even CB has to come up with some good news once in approx. every five RNS's imho .. and we are soon due that 1 for sure imho!

so the next RNS's will hopefully be a good revenue share model 'ard rock agreement with a practical/achievable mining plan and start dates that are logically achievable... and would see a relatively big pick up for such a lowly s/p as this now imho.. hopefully

...and so why not some punchy new bets placed in coming weeks in hope of such and RNS/Rally.... and if it then is that one in five good RNS then this s/p would push up further nicely again off the back imho.. and then follow that up with 'progressive' q2 alluvial revenues RNS - pretty likely from latest levels imho - and 1.5p + is a semi decent possibility by August imho.. indeed maybe even decently more likely than .5p by August..

so if buying in now it's : .7p to .5p versus if news goes badly OR .7p to 1.5p+ if RNS's go well, in approx. the next three months ...not a bad risk reward at all imho.. here's hoping.... and DYOR OF COURSE..
