the bod are between a rock and a hard place and so effectively puppets to the ruyi masters imho.. but that's fine by me as they'll do what's asked of them towards driving for further efficiency in coming 6/9 months imho.. and assuming they can find that efficiency, the free machinery and decent margin contracts will be provided as a thank you as we go … and the deal will likely - aka hopefully - then complete in 2020 too imho.. altogether I have a good feeling about this as a medium term bet.. and have done another small top up.. and am very open to more top ups as we go..

a pity it's an average start only here today.... very small up as I type.. per Friday post, my first target is double figures.. didn't make it Friday afternoon but very hopefully we can today.. need a decent sized buyer - II most usefully - to get some momentum going here asap, then that would perpetuate some more buying.. also an RNS today with Directors buying could be a big catalyst too.. here's hoping ..

it just reiterates - again for the nth time - the level of general distain there is for this share Andrew .. no surprise as the history of this company's is factorially appalling and potential new 'investors' are indeed focused only on the bottom line here in the now and in the future.. and very understandable that is too.. that said, I think CB is doing ok in difficult circumstances, including no further dilution for a good while now and some revenue flowing from alluvials and a good 'ard rock contract just agreed.... so for me there is plenty of hope in the next two years here.. and I'm open to adding more again here on any further weakness from .80p (given the new 'ard rock contract, .75p is the new .50p for me)

PS : CE's - years of - endless bullish calls here remind me of a broken clock; and I do indeed expect him to be right 2 times in every 43200 calls :-)

A set back, and maybe even a significant set back granted... but the fall is ridiculous in context of the full current picture here imho.. fortunately I only had a smallish bet still on here.. so, to put my money where my mouth is, I doubled down in 7's and added another decent tranche for good luck in the 6's .. I believe - aka hope - this could easily be back in double figure by end of day.. dyor of course and it's all gambling.. good luck to all fellow holders..

I’m all for Ruyi buying some in open market asap ..a lot of the shares here are in sticky hands imho... while they might get the first 3 per cent somewhat cheaply - but maybe not in 1’s p average imho - when they declared 3per cent they’d be front runned / goosed immediate lunchtime .. and would quickly be paying 3 and then 4p thereafter IF they wanted to add meaningfully further .. imho

speaking of new ranges, I think this went below your 1.2p mid point bottom already in early trading Geng ? (but maybe it just stayed inside though eg 1.10-1.30 is a 1.2p midpoint ) What are your revised predictions here now ?

if ruyi started to buy large tranches of shares in Bagr on the open market the s/p would go up a lot and quickly .. if they offered management a few million to buy it they'd be told to f off... so they couldn't buy this company for 'a few millions' - even at this trying time - if they wanted too, Adamh imho..

if my guess on what's happening here is correct - it may not be of course - then it's ungentlemanly but not odd in my mind: the landscape in this clothes manufacturing space was brutal and is becoming more and more brutal again.. and ruyi do not think the price they previously offered for that majority stake in bagr is now an appropriate price.. .. unless and until Bagr makes itself more efficient again.... bagr management get that, it's fair to deduce, all imho..

ruyi indeed have bagr between a rock and a hard place.. and the fact that Bagr management allow this situation to persist ongoingly for such a long time indeed shows that on its own, this company is far from the greatest prospect in the world imho, AdamH90..
but this deal can fairly still complete yet imho..bagr have just got to continue to reshape the business towards nett profitability within the next two years.. if they can't do that as meaningfully as ruyi want and ruyi walk in the end then at least bagr will have done plenty more again of dirty work and might be able to eek out a decent future on their own off the back .. a win win.. in a very broadminded sense at least...

Just did a small top up at 1.25p ..Happy to incrementally top up further here on any further weakness.. I'm not expecting this too go too much lower from that level though... and it might even bounce back somewhat soon enough...

Bagr has not been profitable on a net profit basis for plenty of years now hobione.. that may well remain the case this current year too imho..

I agree that Ruyi are trying to force Bagr into more efficeincy ahead of completing.. they're doing this because its clearly needed towards making the business nett profitable in the not too distant future imho...and I commend Ruyi for this.. I'm happy with todays RNS and will likely add some back here soon and or in due course...

Mongrel to a spaniel hopefully Ps If Ruyi still game but with s new proposal. : if it were meaningful change(s) to previously accepted proposals would have to be voted on at another egm I expect ... but if board recommended it it would pass .. and s/p would go where it goes tomorrow assuming that pass .. if not board recommended it would be a more unsure s/p reaction etc

Will someone please ask at the AGM for colour on the performance bonuses achieved -or not - from the sold US business for y/e 2018, at least ..Achieved figures in the two years 18 and 19 together could add millions to the bottom line here at a time when those millions would make a very big difference ...18 figures must be known now? ( and when any such payments might fall due etc? )

that would be an incorrect guess Hinkais.. I've recently outlined my plan here and that remains my plan

( my current position is 1/3 my peak position here btw.. and I decent in profit on my sales so far.. here's hoping for the rest of you long here - and me to an extent - that I'll soon regret selling the shares I have at the levels I have )
